  1. I've got a pioneer SPH DA 120 too, there brilliant for the money when linked to an I phone, and it's quite easy to have all the connections hidden away in the centre glove box or where ever you fancy.
  2. Has anybody got any decent radar systems fitted? I've always fancied one but I don't think there that reliable are they? Nothing worse than seeing the dreaded flashing blue lights in your rear view
  3. Cool, I think I'll accept the loss of the £3 China brushes and order some of the above! Not that I want the window open anytime soon, defenetly not the weather for crusing around, window down listening to the exhaust.
  4. I had this problem, did exactly the same as you but the problem reoccurred! Ive stripped the motor to bits and the brushes are worn out, I cant tell you this was defenetly the issue as I'm still waiting for new carbon brushes but they did look knackered. Mine seemes to work intermittently so I've unplugged it for now to stop the Mrs accidentally lowering it on me.
  5. Good man! Ive had now passenger side motor for a few months now, the only ones i could find in the right size where from china and im still waiting after many poorly translated emails! When you say a little fettling do you mean filing them down to fit in the guides? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  7. Quick question......where did you get your double din adaptor from? I tried modifying the old one that was split into two single dins but its not right! The plastic surround wont fit around the outside leaving the cage visible Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Fair play, for the sake of £50 I'd replace all 6 plugs tho, it will only be a matter of time another plug gives up!
  9. Do you have an amplifier fitted as well?
  10. I feel your pain! The same thing happened to me not long after I purchased my Zed, needless to say unrated struts where my first modification!
  11. I wonder how many points you would get for trying that around Liverpool one shopping centre?
  12. Very true but if you use wd40 to confirm that's the issue and then apply some grease as a long term solution rather than using grease then having to clean if off if the pedal needs removing to fix it?
  13. Well WD-40 is a very thin oil and wil need spraying on, I'd try that 1st and operating the pedal to see if it gets any better, the thicker stuff is probably some sort of grease, I would try the WD-40 1st tho as its not as messy as grease! Just be carefull not to get any on the pedals for obvious reasons í ½í±
  14. WD-40 being carefull not to get any on the actual pedals, that would be bad!
  15. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RoUakhvvOLA I don't suddenly feel the urge to buy some castrol edge but it's still an interesting idea.

  17. I've got a JDM with : Brembo's Undersealed Windicators ( stalks on the opposite way) Mirrors DONT move down when reversing No headlight washers but HID headlights as standard No leather And I still love it As for the headlight washers, the mot tester dose not need to see them working as some cars don't activate them every time the washers are used. BUT if they are not fitted at all they can fail. I'm a tester and if I can see that there is some sort of cover fitted into the bumper then it's a pass! Best way around it would be to silicone some headlight washer jet covers onto the bumper so it looks like there fitted. I'll try and confirm this and print off the fail criteria from the mot database tomorrow!
  18. Okay, thats at the bottom of the list for now as ive got my throttle controller to fit and some tidying on wiring wise from the car play unit thats just gone in! I suppose i best start thinking about christmas presents before i blow all my money on treats for the motor hah Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Ive just fitted mine, took longer than expected! The bloody thing wouldn't power up, got the power probe out and found what should have been an earth was showing a small voltage, cut it and soldered it to a tested earth. Seems to be working perfectly, its never a straight forward job with imports is it! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Never a dull day owning an import! Haha Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Yea ive got legal plates in the boot, not too worried about the M.O.T as im a tester! Its just a case of tacking the legal ones on during the test. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Thanks! Ive only got the one set of keys tho :S Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
