  1. After a few failed attempts, I finally found the Zed for me. A standard UK car with GT pack - the only after market part is the Invidia exhaust... jury is still out on that one... Car has been stood a while, but well looked after. Needs a good service and new brake pads and discs. Is 12 years old, but only done 16k miles. I bypassed this one on my initial search as the seller was, in my opinion, over ambitious with the asking price... it is always hard to value a special car like this though I suppose... anyway, I tried my luck and he proved willing to negotiate. Odd thing is, it is exactly the same as the car I bought new in 2004 and sold in 2006 - a year older but same spec, colour and mileage. https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B9TzG4SWiCpISFVJck5JUkl6ZTg I'll get some more photos after it gets pampered tomorrow. This is just a quickie on a service station stop off on the way home today. Well happy
  2. Some feedback from my search so far - similar aim to you in a low mileage pre 2006 car. £6 - 7k and you are looking at a 2005 car or older with 70k + miles in good condition. I've seen a couple of 55k mileage cars (getting hard to find) but not cheaper than £7.5k (with the exception of the black one that went on here recently) - a dealer car I went to see wouldn't budge from £8k and the body work needed some TLC. I walked away from that one. There is one on auto trader that you might want to go and see... but I think it may stretch your £7k even after a haggle. I would be going but I'm hoping a deal I have set up will come off tomorrow and I will finally be a Z owner again... it is taking a while! There are sub £6k cars out there but they don't look too clever, are high mileage, imports or modded badly.
  3. Glad you found one and a nice one at that. Not a fan of those wheels though. Why they didn't just put Rays on all of them I don't know... Hopefully, I will follow suit soon and will do a similar post!
  4. My missus does the cleaning and the gardening, but she costs an absolute fortune.
  5. I'm a motorbiker. But i have a car to be dry!! To be fair, I'm just a fair weather rider myself these days. Too old to do it all year around any more. I'm on the verge of buying a 350Z, as a sensible alternative to the bike, but it is taking some finding a good one... Hopefully, this time next week I can be as soft as you lot and complain about the heated seats burning me during the cold Winter months
  6. Being a motorcyclist, I have no sympathy for your leaky window
  7. Have to say, it bothers me. Financially, I can afford it but that's not the point. It is a lot of money for nothing and keeps going up year on year. Ultimately, it devalues all but high end sports cars.
  8. Brilliant, thanks folks. Don't think it puts me off. The wheels have been powder coated black anyway to match, so looks good to me. Was just curious :-)
  9. Looking at lots of zeds at the moment and came across this one. Looks like a nice car, but the front bumper looks different to what I've seen on other cars. It is not colour coded for one. Is this an after market part?
  10. Can't believe this hasn't gone yet mate. Lovely car. I would have bought it myself it was a coupe... horses for courses and all that :-) Hope it finds a good home soon!
  11. Rather disappointed this is above my budget. I've always said I'm not a fan of the orange, but that surely is a lovely looking car. Good luck with sale, sure that won't hang around for long.
  12. Thanks but I'm looking for pre 2006 due to tax. The high rate just seems to get worse by the year. Jake dropped you a message.
  13. Good speaking with you today mate. Looking forward to getting the car :-)
  14. Hello mate, Interested in the car, although I must admit I was looking for a coupe... that does look nice. Couple of questions: How difficult would those stickers be to remove without marking the car? What condition is the roof in? Do you have photos of it up? Will the cats pass an MOT? Do you have the original gear knob? Has it had a major service and, if so, how many miles ago? Thanks, Michael
  15. I'm looking for a pre 2006 350Z with less than 70k miles on the clock. Ideally, less than 60k. I'm looking for a GT spec UK car with Rays alloys. I'm willing to travel across the UK for the right car and deal. I have a realistic cash budget waiting.
  16. I don't mind travelling for a good car, within reason. Prefer it to be within a couple of hours from me. My last Zed came from Blackpool, which was a couple of hours from Newcastle. I'm not too fussed about colour, although I'm not keen on the orange either in leather or paintwork (esp the latter), but I am looking for one with Rays alloys. I'm also a stickler for the condition of the alloys and paintwork - we all have our OCDs!
  17. Hi, I'm Michael from the North East of England. I owned a silver 350Z GT Pack UK car back in 2004-6 and it is the only car I have owned that I miss. So, I've decided I would like another... I'm on the lookout for a 350z pre 2006 with less than 70k miles for around the £8k mark max. Does that seem realistic? I have my eye on a couple listed on the interweb... Anyway, good to join and hopefully I'll have some photos to show you soon :-)
