  1. http://fixadent.co.uk/ Ryan is your man. Tell him Pete from East Preston recommended him.
  2. I can highly recommend a dent guy in the Sussex region who can perform absolute miracles. He won't take on a job he isn't confident he can do either. I've had nasty dents fixed by him before, including bonnet and roof. Let me know if you want his details or mods let me know if I can post them on the thread.
  3. AGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!! If you can wait a few days, try Oponeo for tyres, theyre online, i got my Dunlop Sport Max tyres from them, saved £100 a tyre and were delivered in 4 days. At least you wont be paying full whack which may ease your pain somewhat!! Seconded. They have currently have the fronts for £125 and the rears for £131 each. I don't think you'll find cheaper.
  4. Front splitter for 03-05. The item for sale is shown fitted on my car in the pictures. It's now off. I don't know who made this splitter but it looks identical to the HC racing one. There's a tiny bit of damage on one corner (see photo) and one tiny crack. Strictly collection only in West Sussex - happy to meet half way if it helps. Strictly collection only from Littlehampton, West Sussex. May be able to meet half way if it helps. £60.
  5. Appreciate that Stu but this is what you get if you click on 2004 roadster: http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/350Z/roadster/2004/ Not that user friendly as you can see with no indication of where to start looking. It's therefore helpful when someone who knows their way around the manual can link directly to the section in question. I'll probably take some time to print most of the manual which will be a useful reference for a few jobs I want to do.
  6. Forget it mate. I obviously got the wrong end of the stick for which I apologise.
  7. I wasn't really interested guesses and I know how the search button works. Thanks for the unhelpul reply. I was going to post a link for you, but seeing as I haven't done it myself I'd only be guessing that it was accurate so I don't think I'll bother now if that's your attitude. My attitude is simply that just about the most unhelpful reply anyone can post is "use the search button". Anyone that can use an internet forum knows about search and I'm not asking a FAQ like "what's the difference between an 05 and 06. Most people, like myself, use the forum search, plus google and only then post a question if they've drawn a blank. What you'll also find is that when I do the job, I'll post up a description and some photos, something no-one else in the history of the 350Z appears to have done yet - at least according to my forum and google searches. Next time you don't know something, try the forum search and google and get nowhere, what will you do? That's right, you'll start a thread. Then ask yourself what you'll think if the very first reply tells you to use search. Anyway, if you want to get all upset on someone else's behalf, you crack on son. Your Google skills are weak! Indeed they are but that's just what I needed - thank you!

  9. Nasty and a bit worrying as I have the same car. I've experienced this twice with other cars and both times it was mechanical. How did you fix the problem to get home?
  10. Thanks for that. I've looked for info and found nothing practical and precise. Has anyone actually done this who can describe how they did it. I've broken too many plastic fittings in the past because I haven't known the 'trick' and would be surprised if I'm the first person who has had to do this, if only to replace the bulb.

  12. As per the thread title - the light circled in the photo. Loads of water in there and I want to dry it out and seal it properly. I can't see any easy way of getting the lens out so can anyone explain the process? Thanks
  13. In fact it needed a lead shim on the negative post. Only 99p from an accessory shop but something to bear in mind.
  14. I have a similar tear to repair. Not bothered about an invisible fix as the car will only be driven top down and I just need the roof to be leak free for the occasional shower. Has anyone used the Stormsure product or anything similar and how effective was it?
  15. Thanks mate - it's for a black, manual, 05 (pre-facelift) roadster, in case any of that matters!
  16. Anyone know of suppliers of oem knobs? Zmanalex no longer has them. Thanks.
  17. Depends on the nature of the claim I suppose. If the car was nicked, chances are they'd never know. On the other hand if it was burnt out... Anyway, ignore the small print at your peril is all I'm saying.
  18. Two things to think about. One is mice - they can do a lot of damage in a short space of time. The other is insurance. Many policies will stipulate the roof must be up when the car is unattended so check the small print carefully.
  19. I paid £59 inc vat from Yeomans Nissan Worthing yesterday. Pretty good for oem and guaranteed to fit.
  20. Hi mate. When is it? Depends on whether I've got the car out for the good weather. I was planning to swap cars over around April time.
