  1. Due to the size of the job I've not been able to book in with CougarStore until June, not much longer to go now.

Picked up a memento from Silverstone Japfest:

They didn't have any of the cloth ones left so I made do with this rubber version, not too bad.

Also got one of MopedMark's gearsticks from the member traders section. Comparison next to my EPRacing one I had initially:

I definitely prefer this. Its more weighty and sits better in your palm, good improvement in my opinion.

And lastly I got the keys to our new house yesterday so decided I'd give the garage a try today during the redecorating work:

... Bummer. That's as far as I was able to get! Ground out near the Y-pipe.

Another job on the house @*!# list, sort garage entrance

  2. In regards to Street Basis being OEM+...Hm....highly debatable. I'd wager that Tein springs on Nissan struts, is probably a better street setup than Tein springs on cheap Tein shocks under most circumstances, and Nissan struts will certainly last longer.

While i don't disagree with your point, Its worth remembering its not "Tein springs on Nissan struts VS Tein springs on cheap Tein shocks" and its actually "new Tein springs on 10yr+ Nissan shocks VS new Tein springs on new cheap Tein shocks".

  3. The lowest mileage/best example I could find closest to me regardless of which version, so long as its not an import.

Id rather pay more to have a well looked after lower mileage DE than a higher mile HR (and whats what i did, picked my DE up on 32k nearly 3yrs ago).

  4. I think I've upset the wife with this one. I accidentally bought a front splitter and rear spats from tarmac sportz...

Lol I know that feeling but my wife still hasn't noticed the ARK exhaust system on mine despite the tips being burnt titanium, ignorance is bliss you should try it.

Can you make the East Mids meet on Saturday for some proper pics of your car at least? :stir:

  5. R23bur, could you update the 1st post in this topic please with the relevant meeting details or ask a mod to do it? It's abit hard trawling through 6 pages for people to figure out the meeting location, agreed date and time etc. Be better having it all in one post really?

  6. How are you finding these after a few months ? They are currently on Demon Tweeks for £333+vat

    Worth getting or not ?

    Good spot.

When you add on shipping its showing: £407.10. About a £40 saving over eBay prices.

  7. Looks good this! Hopefully the 2nd gear crunch will be fixed by some new fluid.

Unfortunately not, already tried that without any noticeable difference last year when I had all fluids changed during a major service. Just figured I'd get it checked out while the clutch is being done.

  8. Not much has really happened in the past couple of months. I got a 2nd hand Pioneer SPH-DA120 as an Xmas present from the missus.

Before I was using one of those casette/AUX things:

    And fitted:

I also picked up one of those bargain £13 cargo nets posted in the Ebay section.

And finally a couple of coastal shots from a trip to Northumberland earlier this month:

Going to be booking in for a clutch and flywheel change at the end of next month and having the gearbox 2nd gear crunch looked into, I cant decide between SMF or DMF. I'd love to spend the money on wheels, or coilovers etc but I need to address the way the car drives first as Its grating on me. :yuck:

  9. You'd have essentially forfeit your Steam library if you jumped shipped too. I understand that losing access to your games is a common occurrence for the console users every time a new model is released and you have to wait for backwards compatibility (if at all) but that's not an issue with Steam and a nice benefit not to overlook.

Not to mention the cost of games being significantly cheaper on PC too than the console equivalent.
