Can you imagine the insurance renewal increase after something like that? That is of course if they even need to claim, might be so rich they don't care.

This type of meet up is best kept as a static meet, talk Z and what not,
Agreed. Keep the driving meets to places like the Peak District and the likes.
MopedMark you should bring some of your gearknobs along with you, I'll help convince everyone else how great they are
Fingers crossed the weather holds out for Tuesday evening and it stops raining for a while.

Garage (and house) sorted now, been using it regularly for the past week and a bit. Once again my car is back in its natural habitat, garaged.
Surprising seeing how much they had to take out compared to the original garage floor level just to make the slope in, it never felt that great at the time.
Then today mixed fortunes. Bad, battery died so spent time fitting a replacement from EuroCarParts (i hope that's the end of it, and not some kind of parasitic drain - heads up Mitz ) .
Good, fresh rubber being fitted. Hankook Ventus S1 EVO2 K117 275/40/18 and 255/40/18
But not to my Rays this time, something else.
Thanks to 3sjr from the forum for delivering them in person the majority of the way.
I'm not sure shiny wheels are going to do me any favours though, something else to tirelessly try and keep clean. -

What do you think to these Hankooks? I've got exactly the same tyre and sizes on order from Camskill currently to fit to some LGMT4's and could find next to no reviews on them when i placed the order.
It was a toss up between them and Kumho PS91 Ecsta as Camskill only had 10 tyres to chose from in 275/40/18 lol.

I cant help you on the price either sorry.
Not sure where in the Midlands you are refering to but I've used a guy called Scott in Long Eaton for any paint work over the years, https://www.st-autobodies.co.uk/contact-us/ . He fitted and painted a Veilside lip and filled the wiper/spoiler holes in my mates 350z.

If i ever sell mine I'd advertise on here and wait for the right buyer. I can't be bothered with chancers and time wasters.
This. Either wait it out as Kev said, or return to stock/OEM and trade it in/webuyanycar.
The 2nd hand car market for private sellers is on its death bed, the vast majority of sales are done via traders now.

I don't think any aftermarket exhaust is going to really help you with that setup you are running. The only reason the Nismo was quieter I imagine is because it retains a lot of the OEM'ness with its large backbox.

Its not the pedal, its the slave cylinder on the gearbox housing below that you are hearing. I had the same thing.

I think you've missed pintopete58 off the list, he responded but didnt add himself to it.

Spoiler looks good on your black car i reckon, I'm on the fence about the whole "double spoiler" effect though, it put me off the Strosek spoiler Tarmac used to sell for that reason too. I'll reserve judgement until I see it in person at the Cooper arms
(ps. would have looked better with my spacers fitted!)

Some nice Skylines there Ian, was the R34 worth the premium over the R33 for the more modern platform? I'd like an R34 GTT at some point as a cost effective compromise

Still 30K for a Hyundai? I can't see people buying this over a Golf R or Focus RS. I think It's cool that manufacturers are pushing the limits of hot hatch backs, I just wish they could put slightly more interesting engines in them.
Its their first stab it it though so you cant expect them to jump in with a bespoke engine on their first attempt (the veloster abortion doesn't count). It worked for Renault doing sporty versions of their normal range, heres hoping it works for Hyundai too so we can see more creations in the future.

Myself and a couple of others have fitted Depo headlights, I got mine from:
They are a decent alternative from a cost perspective, considering you get brand new lights.

Also find out how long the site will remain as an in progress building site. My mate bought a new build 5yrs ago and they still havent tarmaced any of the roads because there are houses on the site still being built. Not nice navigating the slalom course of raised ironworks everytime you leave the house.

We've also got the lowest unemployment since 1975, I recommend you change jobs Zeezeebaba and get that overdue payrise elsewhere.

Hi Gareth which MeisterR coilovers are included: GTI, ZetaCRD, ZetaCRD+ etc?
-
I like the door handles and the rear glass hatch I guess, that's about it

One of my depo headlights covers i manage to break 2 of the 5 clips on it so i have taped it shut with duct tape for the time being wile i glue it back together. But the other has sealed perfectl and what i can't believe is the light with the cap off i get no condensation as the one that is very tightly sealed i get loads. So i think i might drill a small hole in the cap on the other to test it out.
Also my 05 lights the caps wouldn't fit
Pretty much the same story here, a couple of the tabs have seen better days (but not yet snapped) but as you can see by my post:
http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/112245-sargaras-silver-350z-de/#entry1681247
I suspect the condensation is caused by the very low quality rubber seal, they distort under heat a lot even if they appear correctly sealed when cold.
I contacted a DEPO seller about replacement caps (with better condition tabs) but was told to reuse OEM caps instead of buying replacements which is why i asked

Drove past the Cat & Fiddle on my way to Manchester airport the other day and was shocked to see all the average speed cameras! Really hope that doesn't become the norm, never seen them on anything other than duel carriageways before that.
You can thank the bikers for that using it as a time trial.
It's still my go-to road however, even now i live in Nottingham instead of Derby i still go out of my way occasionally to make the trip. Shame the pub on top is closed at the minute but any journey that involves Manchester etc I will detour over Cat&Fiddle instead

Sargara, I believe the Depo supplied ones were used in mine. I'm having a very very minor condensation issue, is this the reason? I also fitted brand new ballasts with brand new o-rings.
Yeah exactly why i ask, I too have condensation (during the winter, dont notice it currently due to the heat). I've been told the OEM caps fit into the DEPO headlights but was just wondering if anyone has fitted the OEM caps and can confirm they do fit or not.

I've just had some Hankook Ventus S1 EVO2 fitted this afternoon so I'm happy to see them in the top 10, they were a bit of a punt in all honesty as I couldn't find many reviews on them.
