Short video with how the lights work, I'll edit it later to include the 2006-2007 DRL lights too, ran out of time
The 350z lights @ 0:30, whats the proposed solution for the OEM red foglight? The vid only labels: Running, Brake, Indicator and Reverse.

Been there done that.
Mine was over the peak district (Ashbourne to Buxton stretch), its all windy former NSL (now 50mph) roads that i travel fairly often and know well but during the summer gets snarled up with tourists, trucks etc you know the type. I get to a well sighted stretch with an opportunity to get past a row of about 4 others who either don't know the roads well enough or don't have the balls to get past the slow one at the front,so I indicate, move out and get about 3 cars along when a car appears at one of the single track side roads.... balls.
Sods law, they only check their right for oncoming traffic and don't clock me on their side of the road to their left the wrong way so of course start to pull out and I have to slam on and tuck back into the queue of slow traffic feeling about 2" tall and proceed to sit in the same spot for the rest of that stretch of the journey

The front (grill, scoop, lights etc) reminds me a lot of a Subaru WRX which isn't a bad thing in my opinion.
Its just the rear that kills it for me, its too fussy and whats with the big sections of plastic effect mesh?

Looking good, the louvers work well with the ducktail spoiler. Which is it by the way, brand/name wise?

A brimmed tank will get me about 2 weeks on average, so probably about £150 per month id say. I'm fortunate enough to live relatively close to my place of work (7 miles, 25mins'ish commute one way). The misses car does the boring stuff like shopping trips, visiting relatives etc.
Strict Shell vPower diet mind you, its all about that warm feeling when you get a voucher turn up in the post

Could it be a RevUp that went pop and was replaced with a DE engine?
Sucks to be paying the HR tax with a DE tho

EBC are perfectly fine for daily driving, I fitted their Yellow ones to my Megane RS250 and did a couple of track days on them as well, no issues what so ever. They used to have a bit of a bad rep with their old products but their current range is good.
Based on your requirements I'd say your mechanics recommendation is spot on from a price point.

Just make sure to park in corner spaces, perhaps invest in a hard-wired dashcam for peace of mind too. Thats all you can realistically do.

Strudul, both myself and my mate have used this exact product from Halfords on our 350z's (I did the buttom, middle of my front bumper. He did the same + Aerial and some other bits) and neither of us have had anything like what you have pictured.
Yeah sure we masked around the bits we were spraying (as i found it lifted the bits I wanted to keep when trying to peel off) but even so you still get overspray and nothing happened.
I suggest your bumper has had a poor/bad sprayjob previously and its reacted with whatever **** poor quality was done prior.

... Why would you cut and push the bottom out? What are you trying to achieve, a 4x4?
(edit) Nevermind I think i get it now, you are one of THESE people:

I sold my single turbo supra and bought a Skyline 350GT (Z with a different body) and regretted it, loved the look of the 350GT, but obviously performance wise its poles apart, but even the handling was not as good IMO, but hey if you don't try new things you never know.
Rare now too, crazy money. Of the page of Supras for sale on AT/PH, theres only ever 1 or 2 tops that are manuals and they are always imports.
-
Not sure I'd give up a manual TT Supra for a 370z, if it was a lesser model Supra however then no sweat

Amazing, that will be epic.

That's probably a whole years worth of Zed spots in one, lucky if i see 4 throughout the whole year
(edit) Link works fine for me.

If im not mistaken only 1 side has changeable bushings, so if its worn at the other end you're out of luck. So either take a gamble on some bushings or just change the whole thing

Only a matter of time before they reintroduce some kind of scrappage scheme for these old, high tax polluting cars to make people move to the new system
-
The owner is 20 and can get insured
Yet I can't get insured on a 350 at 35 with maximum no claims and no points on my license ever
Time to move out of the ghetto.

Good car (anyone on here?), good review, lol at some of the comments on the vid however.- 1

God knows what the price is gonna be, stupid probably as most 'old skool era' cars we all loved are chasing higher performance areas meaning BUMP goes the price. Same with the new Zed, if it ever gets made and however they do it, it won't be cheap I bet.
Amen. It says a lot when the only "sporty" bargain from new is an MX5. The GT86 was too if you lived in Japan, but they priced it a lot higher over here, greed perhaps who knows?

I love the value for money the car offers, I am always looking at alternatives and just cant justify the increased cost for something that offers similiar but just a little newer.
I hate the temptation to spend alot of money on wheels, suspension, gearbox refurb etc

Each to their own I guess. I bought my set for 58 pounds mid April last year and it's still sitting in my garage!
Similiar story here. Sourced them individually off eBay to make a pair over a year ago and then done absolutely nothing with them since

North Coast 500 does look amazing, how did you plan your trip in regards to hotel bookings and how far between each stop did you allow etc?
How did you manage that with the tyres, bad alignment perhaps?

How is it scrapped on the top!?
Its not a scrape as such, its a stress crack because its been forced upwards.

Dash Cam Installation

^ This. Along the roof line, Down the A pillar, along the drivers door at the bottom, behind the seat and into the rear 12v. Not had a car with 2x 12v before and its certainly handy for a dashcam!
