Thanks for sharing this, like you I was interested in getting one but put off by the price... until now. This seems a nice solution

I think we can all agree we've made the wrong choice in car in the event of nuclear disaster. Alot of members on here struggle with inclines or speedbumps, bet the Deffender forums faire better

With regards to England propping up the other nations it's simply not true. For 35 years upto and including 2016 Scotland was a net contributor to the UK treasury. And that's per the UK governments own figures. Hell, the 'McCrone report' which was commissioned by Westminster to investigate how an Independent Scotland would fare given the recent Oil find in the North sea (1974) concluded that Scotland would have "a chronic surplus to quite an embarrassing degree and it's currency would become the hardest in Europe". This document was then branded 'Secret' to avoid fueling Independence sentiment. As far as what percentage of UK debt Scotland would take on, I'd imagine that would depend on what percentage of UK assets we received.

Back in 1974 when Oil was predicted to run out by the year 2000 you mean? Yes i guess that would have made North Sea oil a gold mine in times of predicted shortage but times have changed massively since then!

Hmm 5 pages in already so I'm late to the party but has anybody mentioned North Sea oil yet? Whats the SNP's financial plan this time around?

I suspect the Supra will be even more than that tbh. The BMW version will slot in between i8 and Z5, so between £60k and £100K which for argument sake gives you £70K. The Toyota will of course be less, so a nice round £10K discount should put some distance and tempt buyers. That'd be my best guess at this point, it'd be nice if it was less than that but I have my doubts.
The list price is somewhat irrelevant, they can list the new Supra, Zed, NSX at whatever they want but the days of cars being purchased outright is over, its all about the £££pcm figure now which is where alot of the recent cars have failed massively, as they dont seem to support their finance packages anywhere near as much as the German brands do.
I bet if Subaru/Toyota tried, they'd shift a lot more GT86's with a wallet friendly £££pcm figure but last I looked the "deals" they had were shocking.
The same will apply to the new Supra and Zed, if they made the numbers work they would sell regardless.

6th May @ 10am in Bingham is good for me too. Whats the meeting location + postcode?
I think the more out of the way the better guys, we dont want to annoy people and get unwanted attention.

They were looking at the Police but it just so happened there was a 350 passing in the other direction. I watched the program last night and never spotted the 350, very good observation skills!
Back to the show.... £1700 per week tho in disposable income just to spunk on whatever!? Oh to be the top 10% of society.

I've given up on my set. I can't believe having a child renders you unable to text someone you've known for 25 years.
I know that feeling. I'm 33 and a couple of my childhood close mates since having children have essentially dropped off the face of the earth, well apart from the cringe inducing facebook posts they make about their kid. I'm not holding it against them or anything before I'm judged, I understand and I'm just letting them crack on with it.

My vote is for 6th or 15th may I know it's another 5/6 weeks but hopefully the sun will be shining and we can have a good drive out.
Ok lets do this properly then.
1. one-eyed-king. 6th or 15th May. (available for either)
2. Sargara. 6th or 15th May. (available for either)
3.
4.
5.
Keep it going, add your availability and we can pick the date based on the most votes.

Did your wheels change colour there, or was it just bad light / focus?
Impressive, the power of Stoptech will also give you matt-black wheels instead of silver

Pretty certain those headlights are for LHD cars (eBay listing shows them fitted in what looks like America for example). Worth being aware of before commiting to aftermarket.
(edit) ignore me, just noticed the listing offers both fitments.

Me and Ripp350z are both Nottingham based and are interested depending on date/time. Does anyone have a decent camera for some pics?
I'll keep an eye on the thread for further details.

This is a tragic accident.
But not the fault of modifying cars but driving like a **** and bouncing it off the limiter without knowing the results.
Thanks for clarifying I was struggling to get the BBC article to make sense, they seemed to only focus on the fact he had modified his exhaust. Makes sense now you mention it, spotted the flame exhaust pics he had posted.

Finally got round to uploading the full Anglesey review and a little vid of just track footage...
Nice videos but your audio levels seem a-little quiet in the first video compared to the second.

What's the power gain
Depends on the weight saving over OEM I guess

Which bushes are you referring to out of interest? Something like this from H-Dev or is there specific bushes that are more responsible than others? http://h-dev.co.uk/product/superpro-350z-front-rear-running-gear-bush-kit-kit5261k-rg/?v=79cba1185463
Great topic WillisRR i replied in your Pistonheads topic before noticing this topic.

I think thats a wise move considering your previous overheating issues, the more airflow the better

Do they fit a 350z tho, that's the burning question or will they rub the transmission tunnel, be too tall etc
-
Picked up Ghost Recon Wildlands for the Xbox One, seems a laugh with mates in co-op via LIVE but im skeptical of its replay value, have to wait and see I guess. Co-Op FarCry essenially

Ok own up, who won? £925 is reasonable so well done whoever got them, I would have liked them and was watching to see how it went but i dont have the budget for it at the min.

In theory there is supposed to be a lifetime warranty on the exhaust.
Appreciate that but if it wasnt them that performed that bodge they might wash their hands of it if someone else has tampered. Might also not transfer with the car to new owners etc.
-
Bickering aside and back on topic.
The underside of your car is nasty (fox is the icing)! Id leave the fox for now until you can get underneath and do everything properly, looks like it will benefit from a general tidy up and some rust prevention.
As for exhaust, get saving for a replacement now lol. Cobra etc is reasonable

Renault Gordini Blue?

These are what I fitted to my Depo headlights, no complaints so far.

So long as you dont mess with the letter spacing you should be "ok". I've used fancyplates.com advanced builder in the past to order slimmed down non-standard plates and never had any issues (I've never tried trimming them myself tho).
You'll need a private plate though with less characters to make it really work unfortunately.
