  1. I'll keep my eyes open for this one then.

  3. check my dyno a week on tuesday. i wil let you know.
  4. as someone who has had neons fitted before - i have never, and would never, drive around with them turned on. they are reserved for carparks only. unless i am mistaken ALL additional lighting options in ANY colour are labelled as ''off road only'', im not sure why its thought that blue only is illegal... they all come under the same rules. as fit fitting them. Have you ever thought about cleaning them? they will get filty very quickly. its a show-car mod. also, i assume the new LED ones dont suffer from this... but theres nothing more embarrasing than turning on your lights on to 'show off' only to find one neon is not lighting up... oh look, its been shattered. by a stone or scuffing a speedbump etc. me personally, i love the 'proper' neons. the real show car ones look awesome. 5. Looking forward to getting mine. the more i look at these the more awesome they look. : shame I have the Orange 'bay, colour scheming is quite limited.
  6. i saw Eminem live this spring.... assuming they setup the equipment in a similar way... then make sure you are as central as possible. we moved around a little, if you imagine 180 degree line from the stage, then you want to be directly in front of the singer or as close as. get into accute angle to their far left or far right, and all you hear in base. no vocals. found this out the hard way. so, stand on the pitch or as far away as possible to get in front of the stage. difficult to describe. hope that helped. i didnt go that high. but when walking around you can really hear the quality change as you walk around. 7. Cheers LRF4N, there are some awesome designs in there! as for the modifying - there won't be bucket seats, roll cages or wild-angled cambers to follow. at least, its not planned. purely looking at bodykit, then wrap. i think i agree that if i turned up to a track in it, with my comfy leather seats and aircon i would look a bit out of place. but as a semi-show car... cant be that bad? this is of course is designed to be looked at from afar. One of SteveOs final designs was also a gem. (cant work out how to upload it?)
  8. I saw an awesome car in one of the historical Wales meets. I tried to trace the owner, i think it may ave been NelP? Its a silver Z, with a 'Nismo Motul' decal. cant tell if its a wrap, decals, or spray. all the same, looks awesome!! anyway. gave me an idea and hunting around because the last thing i would want to do is copy another members theme. so has anyone got anything similar to the Hankook drift car? because i am in love with this .... Have asked RT-Performance for a quote (incl the bodykit) to get this wrapped. Anyone else know of any cool designs? The Helix one also looks good. To be clear, no i am not a professional drifter. nor am i even a ''just for a laugh'' drifter. i just like the idea of a car looking like this being on my drive. Pritchard
  9. I'm not sure.... but I thought you could tell from the VIN plate - or lack of one? :S subscribing.I'd also like to know this answer
  10. well, it has arrived!! all i need to do now is to fit it to the car and take pictures. watch this space. this will either be the bestest ever success, or a real Chav looking mod. Power To The Pumpkin!
  11. im in the same boat as u Leet. I really want to lower my Z, but I am already scrapping on many speed bumps around me. I've even caught the front bumper on some carpark ramps! (no, I wasn't charging up there at 20mph lol) I guess it either biger wheels,or electronic adjustble coilovrs.
  12. Kaveney, that was a before / after remap though, right? not before after parts? Tricky-Ricky nice chart. are those the pot-map afrs? Also, spoke to ark @ Abbey. i am having the 3 graphs / dyno runs woop.
  13. Thanks Stu and GM. GM - that is exactly what i was after. looks to do the trick. just ordered a pot. they could give you commission. lol
  14. Bah, only 1 entry per person?! dammit. this is going to be a harder decision than choosing which flavour Pot Noodle to have for lunch! hey, my missus drives the car too, can she submit a different picutre on a serious note,... You said one picture per person. is that final upon submitting? if i submit one now, but change my mind before the 15th, can i submit a replacement? I ask because i am on holiday around then, the perfect time to take a picture, but also the perfect time to be nowhere near the internet to submit it! and, my phone camera is quite a few years old. when you say 'Hi-Res' what are we talking? I think its a 8mb camera. that ok? Regards Pritchard
  15. afternoon, i am a complete noob to car detailing. I am a one bucket, one sponge kind of guy. a few years ago someone introduced me to the chamoix (probably note spelt like the French ski resort!) and i did a small sex wee. This kind of sums up my knowledge. i recently read the sticky on here about the proper car detailing. so i went to halfrauds, got a second bucket, microfiber mit, shampoo, wax, claybar and etcs. needless to say when i had finished, it looked like i had used a bucket and a sponge. the local ganstas at the hand car wash put me to shame, in a fraction of the time. one thing however that i really love with a drive-in hand car wash, is the wax thats left on the car. particually on the windscreen! very useful. when i washed and waxed myself, water didnt run off of anything. i even took a second trip later in the week and got some mageuiers spray bottle wax instead. again nothing (this is obviously me, not the product). anyway... the hand car wash guys spray their wax mixture on with a pressure spray watsit. could i just add a mixture to the washer bottle, so everytime i sprayed it added a little wax to the windscreen? sounds like a good idea in my head.... i will repeat my opening line: i am a complete noob to car detailing. I am a one bucket, one sponge kind of guy. Pritchard **edit. i really must proof read. grammar and spelling is poor. please excuse
  16. I really wish I had seen this 2 weeks ago before buying mine!! where are you advertising this? I dont remember seeing it and i spent 4 weeks trawling through autotrader, pheads, and motors.uk looking! **edit, oh mileage. i think i excluded high mileage ones. try changing your advert to the trickery of ''135'' instead of ''135,000'' so it will show in searches for lower mileage cars. i searched for low mileage because i wanted a GOOD CONDITION car, not because i was fussy about the number. try it maybe. You would have had me looking if id seen it. fallen in love with your pictures! GLWS Regards Aaron
  17. Afternoon, maybe a question for the traders; Just been nosing around the different suppliers of cats for the Z. I'm struggling to pinpoint the correct CPSI (cell) for the different brands of aftermarket cats. well, i've found a few, in some obscure places. I am making the assumption that the OEM cats are 400 cell, unless someone knows different? I've seen Redline sells an 'unbranded' one (meaning i couldnt find reference to who made it) which was 200 cell. Tarmac Sports has a 'Faster Intentions' one that is 300 cell. I found an Amazon advert for the Berk that was 200cell. I couldnt find any mention of what some of the other popular ones were like Miltek and Cobra. Does anyone know if there is a 100cell cat on the market for the Z? other than 100cell pods that need to be fabricated into a custom system. Cheers Pritchard
  18. aha yes this one.... http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/56998-spacer-size/ opening statement: quote ''It is possible to fit 25mm on the front and 30mm on the rear. This might cause problems if you wish to lower the car though.''
  19. i was just reading a thread that said no you cant. let me see if i can find it. i think it was the sticky....
  20. on a slightly more serious note... THIS is what you do with a pumpkin. (i cant sus out this uploading pictures thingy. here, have a link. ) https://hallsf.imper...ng-competition/ Pritchard
  21. You've Been Trolled ''Hey Mike, I think we've got a nibble on the line'' Whacky nice find! I wonder if i can find that in a vinyl wrap....
  22. lol. i actually also looked for a Cinderella pumkin to upload. good spot ATTAK theres more responses here in 5minutes than ive ever seen in the engine section. top up your petrol heads. so, come on chaps. what do you usualy do with a plumpkin? apart from make soup. Pritchard
  23. ...but you just cant start 'that' thread. :bounce: Just ordered something that i am pretty sure is totally unique for my Z from Stateside. unique because i designed it and had it shipped only problem is... it could look completely ridiculus. so this is just me, being off topic, and venting my frustration at not being able to tell anyone. If you called your car Pumpkin, and you wanted it to look like a Pumkin, what would you do.....
