  1. This really is a supprise to me, the Z is the least leary RWD car I have owned, now a 370hp RWD saph Cossie, that was a handful!!! Even the 330ci BM I had was less planted than the Z.
  2. Yep! Plenty out there for 10k
  3. I have been using the forum for a week now and really have to say its a fantastic well run and friendly form. Well done everyone involved
  4. Wow, that looks very very cool
  5. Yeah I did feel a little bit yammy to be honest, when I got the phone call telling me I had won I thought it was a wind up
  6. I run an impreza wagon as a daily driver and have the Z roadster for the weekend My current wagon (standard-ish) - Just recently sold my 400/400 hawkeye after 6 years to get the Z as I wanted something different, having 2 cars that are the same doesn't make sense. Here are some pics- Also had a nice STI Type R before that too running just over 400hp- Had 6 in total- I won this one in a raffle- Not bad for a fiver Jonny
  7. Woohoooo, mine is Azure too, I never win anything though
  8. Cheers GMb, Really looking forward to getting them on Thursday, will post some pics up as soon as they are on
  9. Well I have well and truly gone in with both feet today, got myself a set of Rota GTR-D,s (staggered) 19"in silver with the polished rim, being off work and playing with the Z is getting bloody expensive, it's in the paint shop at the moment getting the bonnet repainted (stone chips) so should be looking awesome by the end of the week
  10. Fitted the front Silvertec bulbs today- Before- After- And also the rears- Also had my local dent tek out (Mark) to perform his magic on a few pin dents I had around the car, really happy with the results
  11. Thanks guys, as Payco says got them through eBay- Here is the eBay item number- 310904583871 They do need a little manipulation as they are flat backed so don't follow the curve of the boot line, a little warming and bending by hand sorts that little problem out. My silvertec bulbs arrived today so that was today's little project, fit them to the back, only got 2 have ordered another 2 for the headlights. I have 2 weeks off work so I can see this being a regular thing!
  12. Well, after owning my 350z roadster for a week now I have started modding already! Got a nismo gearknob on order along with some silvertec indicator bulbs. Today I have fitted a HKS panel filter and a new set of floor mats along with these "z" badges front and back.- Got to say I am really enjoying this car
  13. Jonny Z- Azure 350z roadster- Durham
  14. Hello guys, the gearknob on my Z is looking a little worse for ware, any recommendations on a replacement and where to get them, had a look around but can't find anything I like apart from the nismo one but can't find them for sale. A new standard one would do but can only find ones in worse condition than mine on eBay 2nd hand, any help on the matter would be greatly appreciated. Jonny
  15. Well my OCD kicked in today, removed the silicone bling dash gunk that had been used on the dash to uncover a couple of marks on the gear surround and on the center glove box. Tried to remove them only to find it was the material breaking away, to cut a long story short I stripped out the full center dash and repainted it with soft touch dash repair paint, looks as good as new now. Mind you I was bricking it when I was doing it but it's turned out fine
  16. After a long and painful search I have finally found a nice 350z roadster (boy did I look at some rubbish) I wouldn't call my self fussy but some of the cars in garages that I looked are and described as excellent condition were clearly far from it. Anyway I now have a fantastic 350z roadster in azure blue, it's on a 05 plate, it's not a GT but I am sure I can add some of the nice GT bits over the coming years. I love the way it sounds and looks, it could do with a little more power but that will also be something I can sort out in time too. Here is a photo of my new motor- Have spent today sorting the heat shield that had rusted through the fixing bolts and was rattling on the top of the backbox, 4pan washers sorted that little problem out, the only other thing that I can see as an issue is the cheap Chinese tyres it has on, as the last owner only used the car in the dry it wasn't a problem for him but I may be using it in the wet and would prefer some decent rubber. Jonny
  17. Happy new 350z roadster owner!
