  1. I will probably end up getting them done this weekend elsewhere, and I meant to say wheel specialist Fareham, auto correct.. Here is the rear alloy on the car, it looks tiny! I am quite pleased, just from fitting one alloy, I think they will suit the car quite well.. Just need to order some more bits to compliment the new black wheels!
  2. No tyres for me today! Wheel specialist Farnham was open, but fully booked until a week today. They do not normally fit tyres to just anyones wheels, normally it is only if you have had a refurbishment with them. But they happily agreed to do it for me, and would find the best size and fitment. So a week today will be the day hopefully. Unless I get impatient and go elsewhere on the weekend! I am going to fit one front and one rear alloy just to see how they look and fit . Pictures shortly.
  3. Some pictures with the carbon bits and some without... only thing slightly bothering me is all the writing/engraving
  4. Thank you Buster! I have pictures of one rear wheel if you all would like to see...
  5. But what colour did i get........... hmmmmmmmmmmm
  6. Not sure.. what would you recommend? Open to suggestions! Im planning to go to the wheel specialist Farnham tomorrow.. Standard suspension? Yes Do you plan on lowering in the future? Potentially yes

  9. Big reveal will be tomorrow... that is if all goes to plan. Some hints... 18" Rears Width 10.5 Rears Offset ET5 Front Width 9.5 Front Offset ET15 I believe I will be the first Zed with these wheels, have not seen another with them (they are also new on the market I think..)! Off to get tyres and all that jazz tomorrow, hopefully they will fit just fine!
  10. Got mine at 18! Good luck to you!
  11. Normally it will be stamped on the back boxes, had the same problem with my system. Looks like an ARK system.. but as I said it should be branded, if not it may be a very old system or a replica system?

What colour to go for on a silver zed?

They do look pretty damn nice, though I cannot find any pictures of them on a zed, who knows they might really suit it!
  14. Axle stands, tool box, a large socket set, and a wire brush! Ready for all my DIY jobs next year!
  15. Ok, thank you for the replies! I will give it a week and then tighten everything properly with a torque wrench.
  16. I have just fitted my new wheel bearing yesterday, I am adamant that I will attempt to fix all the problems with my zed myself. I have literally no experience and no clue what I am doing but the wheel bearing replacement went very well. Admittedly it is one of the easier jobs to do.. and there may have been a few spanners/wrenches thrown across the hanger.. and a few bleeding knuckles... But the satisfaction when I got in the car and it was absolutely silent and going in a straight line, was amazing, I was so chuffed! When I got the old bearing off and attempted to spin it by hand it was nearly solid, and when I did get it spinning it sounded awful. Now my queries... - As I did it all with hand wrenches etc, no power tools, will I be best to get back in there and tighten all the bolts I took out, just incase? - Also when on full lock right, there is a tinny tapping sound, which I think is the dust shield, which may have been bent in the removal of the bearing. Is there anything else this noise could be?, it may have been there before but I could not hear it over the noise of the bearing! My next job is banana arms and bushing.. then maybe I can get my wheels refurbished and get a overdue service! Should I be taking it easy with driving on a newly fitted bearing?
  17. Completely ignored my frantic flashing and waving! Think you were looking at your centre console as you went past so probably did not spot me... car did look like it had quite a bit done to it, too much to list. Think it had bronze alloys..
  18. Off topic but.... Are those jade r alloys I see on you roadster... nearly identical to me! Yes 20" so exactly like yours, but mines has stretch tyres all around and 10mm spacers to the rear. Like the alloys but have scuffed them to hell already... I have 10 inch wide rears, not running any spacers (yet) I am due a refurb as mine are in shocking condition now!
