Im on 59k miles, original clutch, also high biting point/engagement and no slipage or juddering. I tried 4 other Zed's before buying mine and they all had high engaging clutches.

Old thread I know but I just swapped my gearknob out for a new OEM one and I spent hours trying to find what was rattling. I was certain that it was one of the dash dials. This morning I realised it was coming from the gear knob grrrrr Will try some tape over the collet ring.

I have never had an oil temp gauge in a car before so please excuse my ignorance. I would expect it to start off on 0 and then climb as the oil heats up. Mine goes straight to 3/4 on the dial when I first start her up and then slowly comes down to 1/3 on the dial and pulses up to mid way when I accelerate. After about 10 mins of driving it stays around the half way / 3/4 mark. ???

Hate: Sat nav and bose tape deck which look like they were make in the 80's Love: Looking down the big @ss bonnet and feeling that 3.5 rumble

I go by my temp gauge. As soon as its at the correct temp I let her go over 3k revs. Usually about 5 mins of driving

I'm in the same boat. Look on ebay for the 350z kits they sell. It looks like they have everything you need. The thing that I am worried about is that the double din units are a mega tight fit. I spent Hours trying to make a kenwood fit into my old MR2 and it would always work its way out at the front over time.

£U(k me you lot have a heavy foot! and yeh, 40 - 60 average but in 5th. I reset it on every drive. Cat pic above cracked me up

The perferated door cards look a little blotchy under the light. i tried using interior cleaner on them and it hasn't helped. I am wondering if this is a common problem and if there is a solution I can use that will eliminate it? Cheers

Reading this post made me angry. I'm so glad you caught the £u(3r and made him pay up. I received a door dent on the first day of ownership and she got away in her BMW whilst on the phone too. I literally saw her drive off as I was walking back to the Zed. Getting the door dent guy out on Saturday. It happened in my work carpark too! I'm on the lookout for her car. I might have to accidently fall into it with my knee out when I do find it Its people like this who make it stressful leaving your car unattended.

I drive to Bexhill every weekend (A22) and this is my average MPG according to my on board computer. Are they accurate? If so I'm pretty chuffed with that. I was expecting it to be closer to 20 MPG Maybe I'm driving too slowly

Probably made some sort of deal with Michelin and bought like 20,000+ or whatever to get a bargain price. It is Amazon after all. yep I took mine to AJS Tyres in Kingswood. they seemed pisd that I had go them for that price and charged me £72 to fit the tyres and balance the wheels. The wheels were loose in the back of my car (not the Zed lol) so they didnt have to remove/re fit them to the car. It took them 5 mins. Daylight robbery! i will never go there again. I warned everyone at my work what a rip off they are there. They actually looked pisd off having to do the work!

Old thread I know, but I am in Bexhill every weekend in me Zed so say hello if you see me! You guys seen a silver 370z? I have seen it cruise around alot near the Legion pub / round about. Sounds mint.

Put some winter tyres on em and swap em over just before they start sanding the roads in December. Thats what I am doing with mine.

My MR2 Turbo ran rich naturally.. for safety apparently. Popped and banged the whole time with the Buddy club exhaust. De cat too. I had a very scortched bumper and people stayed the hell away from me in traffic that exhaust sounded like a didgeridoo it was music to my hears. I need to check out the Z one thinking about it..
