  1. quick add your name to the list and we can get em!
  2. thay told me 'x brace' lol After getting some more info: Rear under brace. thanks for the correction.
  3. thanks for the links guys, I needed it urgently as my car is with them now so I have gone with the Cobra. As for the rusty one thats on there now, its the original one that came with the car and I believe them when they say its a state. I do trust these guys, friends of friends and I have been using them for a long time. Thanks for the concern though, appreciated. AMT your right, it is a piece of mind! I plan to have my Zed for a while..
  4. Mine is looking very tired and rusting quite heavily. After a good condition replacement. edit: Rear x brace only
  5. Yes your right, seeing as the HFC's and exhaust are decent it would have been a shame to get a budget Y pipe. Feeling a bit sick due to the total cost though! thanks and good luck with yours too
  6. right just got off the phone, they are ordering in a Cobra. I didnt want to spend that much but I trust their word.
  7. the problem is fitting it back on. The whole system is off at the moment. It will take longer to refit it due to the rust. I might leave it up to them and Abbey to choose tbh, I just want her back ASAP.
  8. Hi all, I just had a call from my mechanic telling me my existing Y pipe is rusted to hell. He suggests replacing it asap. (Currently having an aftermarket mid pipe and back box fitted). Car is currently up on the ramps. I Don't have the money for a stillen and he doesnt recommend a non flexi pipe due to the stress on the fixtures of the whole system. I also don't want to spend over £200 on a y pipe! Im not too bothered abt the flexis leaking further down the line, I can always cut them out and replace when needed. Is the Japspeed any good (fitting, gains and sound wise)? I need to order one today. thanks
  9. Main things that do my head in with the Civic; 1. skittish.. I am contantly looking for slight dips in the road when cornering 2. No torque 3. all that screaming and the feeling of not really getting anywhere, I guess this also could be explained as 'no torque' 4. tons of road noise 5. Any longer than 30 mins drive is tiring 6. makes me drive like a w@nk3r for some reason 7. Steering has zero feel Its true about the gearbox though, its very very good as are the seats.
  10. I have to say I disagree, I think the Zed is in a completely different league. Cant be arsd to go into detail, Friday afternoons are tiring enough as it is zzz
  11. Yes! makes me realise how much better a car the Zed really is.
  12. My Zed went in for a service yesterday, Fujitsubo exhaust, Plenum spacer and Berks HFC's to be fitted as well as clutch adjustment and an overall inspection. The garage I use has pool cars thankfully, I sold my old Civic to them after the head gasket went a few months back and now I have it back int he mean time. I forgot how bl00dy loud this thing is with the blueflame exhaust. Disapproving looks from bystanders and my ears are still ringing. Man I miss the Zed!
  13. MR2's were my thing before the Zed. You must contact Luke here for all things MR2. Great guy who I have spent alot of time with and very good prices too: http://www.pacific-works.co.uk/
  14. I have decided to go with Tarmac for reasons above.
  15. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Berk-Technology-350Z-G35-High-Flow-Catalytic-Converters-/171383882972?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item27e74684dc From USA, with the postage and import charges included it looks like they are around £366 all in. I am seriously tempted.. has anyone else bought them from the states?
  16. Hi sorry, only just saw your reply. From a member on here.
  17. great! Looks like I am exclusively after a Stillen then. Thanks guys
  18. Thanks for the advice on the Y pipe! I am wondering if there might be fitting issues with the Fuj as there are no flexis on the Stillen.. I would like to try and get them second hand if I can to save some money. Will give you a shout if nothing comes up in the next month or so though .
  19. I have just bought a Fujitsubo mid pipe and back box so I am looking to upgrade the Y pipe now. HFC's no longer needed
  20. thanks for the reply I will give them a call
  21. Well I picked up my fujisubo backbox and mid pipe today! Can anyone advise me what bolts and gaskets I need? Any lins would be very useful! Thanks in advance
