  1. Its a good advert for the HR Zed. . Sure a few on here wont have seen it, I hadn't . good ad for the DE too as it was her favotire car.. EVER!
  2. I am going to get the re map booked in with Abbey and will get them to double check everything before hand.
  3. Thats abit of a fail! just a bit! LOL it was probably rotten
  4. I might put mine on ebay as I havent had any response on my ad here. Only covered 19k miles too
  5. my torque has almost halved. She has become a boring drive... I am going to need a remap ASAP
  6. Gah I feel bad for the hassling now... all the best for your fathers speedy recovery Flyboy, take your time we arent going anywhere All the best
  7. Right.. battery disconnected for 10 mins. Pedal dance and still lacking power as before. especially in 3rd 4th 5th and 6th. Torque seems to have halved. I hope none of the mods have caused this.
  8. Looking for £180 collected from Kenley, Surrey All in great shape as you can see from the pics. No problems at all. This replaced the original exhaust at 40k miles. She has done 59k now and I have literally just fitted a Fujitsubo hense the sale.
  9. interesting... did you unplug the battery for 5 mins and then do the main pedal dance? Yeh Abbey is the closest. I wish Flyboy would come back about the velocity stack!
  10. I didnt disconnect the battery for as long as that. I will try that tonight. Yeh I know I need a remap for more power, I just didnt expect the power to go down thats all. I thought I would have at least what I had previously but if the fueling is currently off like you say then I guess it makes sense that it would feel sluggish. I do want a remap but I am currently waiting on an 06 velocity stack from Flyboy before I can. Frustrating..
  11. Let me start by saying I know I need a remap before I will see any gains, but right now my Zed is definitely slower than it was before I fitted the following; Fujitsubo mid pipe and back box Cobra Y pipe Berks HFC's Plenum Spacer I tried doing the Idle Air Volume Learning (Throttle Position Learning) pedal dance last night. She still feels the same this morning. Bah..
  12. this is the one I bought, 3 still avail: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/271410271144?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649
  13. we are waiting to hear back from flyboy, there hasn't been any contact in a while
  14. Wanted asap. Its the last mod on my list before the remap.
  15. Get your name down here too, cheap mod. I am waiting on this before I get my remap: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/86240-new-batch-2006-airbox-conversion-kit-interest-list/page__st__20
  16. You also might wanna check out a Gibson Les Paul BFG as a cheaper option. Around £550 second hand. Here is me playing mine (using the neck P90) through my Marshall SL5
  17. yeh it was more that the holes didn't match up perfectly. I guess when you remove the old one and its not on a perfectly flat service the chasis could move slightly. All that was needed was to put some force on one side to fit. Nothing major so dont panic and eat some spinach before hand worry more about the existing bolts being siezed. blow torch/heat gun ready.
  18. Thanks! Sorry for the poor post, I did it from my mob last night as my internet was down. Yep the brace was 129 delivered. It took over 5 days to come and it was a little hard to fit apprently but it was worth it. The OEM brace is so thin in comparisson. The amount of rust on mine was unreal. Happy with it.
  19. Video here:http://youtu.be/IDcPA10OLjw I'm really pleased with the sound. No drone at all but comes alive when you boot it. The v6 tone really comes through. Burbles away Just need a remap now.
  20. Yup the 'standard' comes with a fast / thin neck. Thing is, the best advice anyone can really give you is to go play a whole bunch in and out of your price range. Thats the only way to find something that you are going to love and not want to sell on in a years time. Get to your chosen shop 5 mins after opening one morning, grab a booth and fill it with at least 5 guitars and just blast away. I have kept (but rarely play); 2001 PRS (mainly for its beauty and warm tones) 1997 USA Lone star strat (Texas special single coils = blues heaven) 1953 Gibson LG-1 (vintage blues box) 2013 Gretsch bobtail resonator (For all my slide playing) 2008 Slash sig epiphone Les paul. (Bargain solid body, long neck tennon les paul, thick and meaty) 2013 Gibson LP traditional (best guitar I own/played to date) is my daily player
  21. have you played one of the 2013 Gibson les paul traditionals? Man they are great guitars. Completely solid bodies with a big chunky neck. Tone beasts. You can get one second hand for a smidge over 1k. A life long partner. Since I bought my SL5 Marshall and the traditional, I havent pined for anything else. I have gone through over 40 guitars until I found these 2. The only change I made to the Gibby is a Mule bridge pickup.
  22. I ordered an Ultra racing 4 point rear lower bar
