  1. Oh ok. I need the top of the windscreen as the painter didn't do a great job when pulling it back to paint the roof and has put a few marks in it.
  2. I assume you mean for a soft-top? I also need the seal for the top of the windscreen but for an 07 coupe so am interested to see what responses you get
  3. I have one of those too but haven't used it in years. They weigh quite a bit and I have often wondered if they could cause any kind of damaged weighing down on the steering wheel constantly?
  4. Quite like the mirror thing, its a bit different
  5. Let it heal properly before doing anything. I smashed my wrist racing motocross about 8 years ago but carried on riding for the rest of the day. In fact I rode for about 6 more months before eventually I couldn't bare the pain and went to the drs. They fobbed me off for a few months saying it would have healed by now if it was broken, however eventually after a few more trips and me confirming that it had got so bad I struggled to lift folders at work, they begrudgingly xrayed it and found 4 white lines that were fractures/breaks and also confirmed ligament damage and tendonitis. I suffered for about a year and a half all told. It never was plastered though (which I was secretly gutted about)

What was the quote??? Love shawshank..
  7. Was out for a family day so it was nice to spot a Zed
  8. I used to live in Epping but am now about 8 miles away on the edge of Hertfordshire so still pretty local. Have you seen the meet coming up shortly at the Ace Café, there will be close to 40 of us bringing our cars along I believe.
  9. That's constantly on the 350z groups on Facebook. With the exception of the front splitter I do quite like it
  10. Howdy. Where in London are you, I'm just outside and there are a few others not too far away. You should pop along to the Ace Café meet in a few weeks to say hello. I've only owned my Zed for a few weeks and thought I'd go introduce myself.
  11. Lots of pics I see show them doing this, I think it must be a reflector used to highlight the dent so it's more visible and easier to work on?
  12. What company is he from, I need to find a decent paintless dent removal firm. Glad you got it sorted!
  13. I won't be doing any hard work to be honest, just want to ensure it is at least is good as when it was new. There is a reasonable amount of build up on the inner disk surface and I thought about skimming but I believe that costs around £40 per disk and I can get brand new Pagids for less. If the Pagids are as good as stock brembo discs then I figured that is the best option. Thanks for the message Adrian, I did take a look at that the other day but it a a bit overkill for my needs
  14. Want to change my front pads and disc on my 07 Zed - despite it only having covered 19k miles, there is some judder from what I assume are warped discs. On eurocarparts website they are quoting pads at £28 for pagid or £50 for Ferrodo Discs are £65 for Pagid yet £360 for Brembo! Has anyone tried Pagid? I'm sure they will be fine and I wont be tracking the car, but they seem very cheap Any feedback? Cheers Jamie
  15. I'm having the same issue with my spare key. New battery and the bugger just wont work. Tried the method above, and the other one about turning the key 6 times etc etc but nowt. Last option is to take it to the dealer for reprogramming. Was quoted £57.
  16. Hey. How was the Cotswolds? I picked up a colour at the weekend and am currently paining a wheel. Its turning out nothing like the colour on the chart but im thinking the lacquer will change that. I will post a pic asap once the final coat is on Thanks for the offer though. If it is hated, I am still considering white
  17. Well done fella, glad it was a good trip! My gearstick moves a bit when you come off the throttle, I'm sure they are meant to as the motor mounts allow some movement. Where's the pics then????
  18. No problem. I am hoping to get a few colours over the weekend but have been reminded of a few things I need to get done so if I have the time I will, if not it will have to wait. Enjoy your trip mate
  19. Not too far away from me then. Good luck on Saturday! I hope you've already found out lots about the car so it's not a wasted trip. Make sure you're all ready for the purchase, get an insurance quote etc as you'll need that before driving it back for four hours, and if you've got a quote already then its just a quick call to accept the quote rather than having to give all the details again. Oh and tax. Have the details ready so you can tax it too before you set off. P.S. if you're going sat, make sure you know what time your insurance provider closes, you'd possibly be in trouble if you got there mid-afternoon, done then deal then called the insurer only to find they close at lunchtime on a Saturday. Let us know how you get on. Jamie
  20. In case anyone remains interested, I wasn't having a laugh, my car shook itself left and right several times in 6th gear with TC on and wearing MPSS all round with no provocation in the rain. it was going downhill so possibly removed a little of the weight over the rear wheels but it certainly happened. There were skidmarks....
