Popcharger, Aha, let me rephrase the question, do you know if anyone else has noise after installing, To be fair it almost sounds like a turbo so I wouldn't say I don't like it. I only really hear it under high load,
Hi Alex,
I have done the peddle dance and it does appear to be better, im still a bit worried about the sound though, when I listen to the engine bay whilst someone else revs it does appear to be coming straight from the cone so I don't think its a leak somewhere. Did you have a change in noise when fitting a spacer?
Hi Guys,
I fitted the complete motodyne plenum spacer to my car, after fitting it when I accelerate and take my foot of the gas the revs stay where they are and sometimes rise slightly for a few seconds before dropping like normal. The idle is fine and consistent, If I put the car under load there is a slight pshhh sound coming near the intake (is this normal after a spacer install?)
Basically the car feels fine just the annoying rev issue, any ideas?
Massive thanks to Adrian, ordered a plenum spacer and without my knowledge he had actually dispatched it before I had paid. Will definitely order from them again and would encourage others to do the same.
Hello, not a fire fighter but have looked into it in the past, not many forces are hiring straight from the public. I know Hampshire haven't hired in about 5 years! The best option is to become a retained fire fighter at your local station. you sign on and off call on line and get paid for it. But any form of hiring is mainly from retained fighters now.
Mighty car mods did a test on one of these chips a while ago, they got a electronic engineer to see what it actually did and it literally did nothing, there was a dummy chip and all it really did was light up a LED.
A lot of the time these sort of emails are information phishing. By replying you give away a lot of information such as your IP and from that your rough location, and they will also know that your account is active meaning you may receive a lot more spam. I honestly do not think its worth it just delete and forget about it.
I did think about the clicky axle but it was way to loud for that, I honestly expected to turn around and see a massive crack in my rear windscreen, as you say hopefully just in the wheel arch
Hi guys, was driving earlier and I heard a really loud cracking type sound, like when a stone hits your windscreen but louder.
It came from the back of the car, car is driving fine and there are no cracks to paint or rear windscreen. Can anyone think of what it may have been? Or anything I should check.
