  1. ^ yeah absolutely agree. Much like the DC2 type r, S2000 all the power at top so have to bury the throttle to em going which would get tiresome. I love the Z she'll go from any rpm with ease, 20mph in 4th with no need to drop down a gear or two. I can imagine the turbo gen M3/M4 was a huge jump in all round performance and economy, of course a lesser sound.
  2. Point being to some sounds matters. I think it does along with looks, affordability, reliability and the 350z/370z are tough acts to follow. Best sounding V6 twin turbos today? Possibly the ones from Alfa and in the back of the NSX 🤷🏽‍♂️
  3. Nice one. Remember when the Cayman 718 GTS went 2.5 turbo. The performance was better than the previous models N/A engine but the newer cars sounded awful and got slatted in the press in this area. Porsche for the facelift offered that model again in N/A 😁
  4. Much nicer than the 90's amber glow
  5. Well done fella, proper socket was needed
  6. With sports mode engaged they'll have extra pops and bangs utilising fuel dump on over run or between up shifts. Maybe for a TT V6 it doesn't sound bad, however coming from a N/A lineage it'll alway suffer. Think e46 and e92 M3 to F80 M3 - sound wise the older cats have it. I think manufacturers use artificial noises to give more character to an otherwise dull sounding oe exhaust.
  7. I will just say artificial pops and bangs isn't a good sound
  8. True, sound went downhill after the VQ35DE
  9. Why? Stated as being less rewarding to drive than the Z
  10. Quick refurb on my carbon b post trims. For a while now once it had rained they would water spot really bad and dry as pale blue staining. Would go after a polish or being left to completely dry out however it was clear the gel coating was failing. SunTek Ultra to the rescue B post removal x2 pop clips and a guide, door needs to be opened. Faded and unprotected carbon First polish and refining needed PPF template being cut out Wet install Both pieces covered in self healing Ultra. Let these dry out final edge work and refit.
  11. Common issue, valve cover seals - new covers needed
  12. Wasn't you offered 8k for it? Why didn't you let it go 🤷🏽‍♂️
  13. Any keyless entry car is easy to take with the right software I guess
  14. Gutting to see, might be a Kia employee sadly
  15. It's not the new Z testing, it'll never happen 🤣
  16. I've done mine, used a combination of Bilt Hamber hydrate 80 and Hammerite underseal.
  17. Lovely example, enjoy 😉
  18. Clearly they have the taste for a Nismo RS, so tad more power and a manual box 👌😁
  19. Nice work, I can also recommend a lightweight crank pulley while you down there too - very noticeable gains in engine pick up throughout the rev range and driveability.
