Right ive change my mind. I cancelled the second hand tyre and i have bought a new mpss. the tyre guy said itll be fine to put the two on with different treads, but they will always need changing at different times.

OK. I had 5mm on the rear tyres. So i have found a second hand mpss with around the same tread on it for £60. This means i can change them at the same time at the end of the year! THIS SOUND OK? Thanks for your help guys. Remember we are all friends here

OK cool my first plan is to find out the tread And try and match that to a used mpss on ebay. If not I'll have to buy the both. rather annoyingly I have only just bought 2 new front tires and having those put on tomorrow. Expensive month for me

I'm not sure on the depth. I've had then 5 months and done about 5k miles of moderate driving. I'll check them in the morning! yea was thinking of selling the good one. Or buying a second hand matching one!

I have got a none repairable puncture in my back tyre. my question is do you have to replace both of the back tyres when one go's or can you put a new one straight on? or should I look around for a second hand tyre with the same thread? I have got MICHELIN Pilot Super Sports on at the moment. if anyone has a 245 45 mpss I'll have it! 😣

I have had this nose for a while now. Its happens when i accelerate and slow in gear. only for a second then goes. Its like a tinny rattle around the exhaust! It only seems to happen when im in gear though. Any ideas? Clicky axel? heat shield? http://vid44.photobu...zpsnvpjhz2d.mp4

I'm going to change over my OEM exhaust very soon. I was about to buy the resonated cobra, but then saw a few people comment about drone. (Which will irritate me) so I was thinking scorpion? Anyone had both? Or know any other good brands for around 500 that aren't to loud at normal speeds? Also does the scorpion sound good when you give it beans? The OEM sounds nice, but is a tad quiet!

Hey guys, I am looking at a second hand stock exhaust on here (Back box and long pipe) . Its from an 05 plate. Will this fit on my HR roadster?

My car has slowly developed this strange noise. Its from the exhaust. It happens when i take off. The exhaust (or somewhere at the back) makes a kind of metallic clattering noise. The best way to describe it is its like there are a few stones tapping against the exhaust. Once i'm driving the noise goes. I'm thinking something loose around the exhaust. Heat shield? I don't think its anything major, but its becoming slightly annoying

I Went to leave for work this morning as usual and thought i'd check my oil. Popped my bonnet, then drove to work. It wasn't until i got to work that i realised i had left it open Thank god they have a catch!! Car looks fine, and no damage done. that i can see! Could i have caused any problems here? it was a 10 mile drive with a mix of roads! WHAT A PLONKER!!

Did you find out what that 'tink' was? I have the same noise. I'm sure its an exhaust / heat sheld?
