Well its gone back this morning and I said I wasn't happy with the result. The mechanic seems really nice and said hell reset the glass and have another look. He also said it could be a day job if I wanted. Showed me roughly how to remove the door card etc. I prey its better when I get it later. This like this really put me off driving it haha

I haven't paid them anything yet. They said that replacing the motor is an option as there is play in it. They actually said it was the regulator. Is that different? Anyway. Its going back in today And I'm going to make it clear that I'm not happy my window is now 10 times worse than before. Hopefully theyll sort it out!

Just cant believe my luck. I decided to take the car into the nissan dealers. hoping they would find what the problem is. They basically said that they can hear a rattling, and think its coming from the motor that works the windows. to replace that will be around 300quid. I thought ok fair enough. They did strip the whole card and door down and didnt charge me. Went out to the car, and they havent put the glass back in right. they have left it short at the end by 1/2 an inch. aghhh so frustrating!! have to take it back in in the morning again!! feels like im the only persons with this annoying problem!

Don't mind how much I spend. Just want a good set!

I know this has been done to death. But my backs need doing soon. They have Avon's on the the moment which seem pretty good. Anyone got a good set on which they would recommend? Or any to avoid?

Hey. I can't seem to get the window and mirror switch panel off. Its the wiring unit that doesn't seem to come out. Isthere a technique that allows the wires to come out easily i don't want to force it in case i break the window.

Has anyone with the roadster used the roof boot to store stuff in? It just seems like a waste of space. I mainly concerned I might cause damage in the space? Wires etc I can't see!

OK I tried taking the card off at the weekend but got to scared! But what I discovered is that its the glass. Drivers side is making all kinds of creeking and clicking. Even when I move the glass. Passenger door isn't. Any ideas? Could it just need tightening?

Ok i have had my Zed for 4 months now, and love it! There is something that is really getting on my tits though. There is an annoying noise coming from my drivers door. Its an accumulation of noises actually. One minute there will be a ticking/popping noise from the glass, the next minute there will be a ticking/rattling from somewhere in the door. I know all cars have rattles, but do any of you have the same problems with the door! i have a roadster, so when the roof is down i don't hear anything, but still pisses me off none the less! How hard is removing the door panel? Ive got a 57 plate. HELP ME!!!

I wouldn't mind lubing up my roadster roof. Nothing wrong with it, but good to keep it maintained. What's the best product? I'm guessing not wd40?

What's people view on the best engine? I've got the hr and driven the de but that's it!

A question. Because the 350z is no longer made, and finding a good example with low miles it's becoming harder is the 350 z going to become classic and hold its value and maybe even increase in value as good examples become rarer? surely they can only depreciate to point?

Humm its a worrying sound. But loads of people say its normal on here. Just have to believe its not going to blow up haha.

350z rattle: have a listen.

I've posted before about the slight rattle I have From my clutch. I've noticed today its started to get slightly worse. Noise goes when I press the clutch in! Is this noise common. Or is it going to be a long and costly process? Car seems to drive fine. No slipping and the clutch isn't high! Maybe the bearing?

I've got the roadster. I've noticed recently a bit of noise coming from the door glass or panel. Like a creaking/ticking. Like a dash creak I guess. Any ideas how to fix? Take the panel off? Worried this will make it worse.

That's perfect! Could also use the wing as a surf board! Haha
