Torqen are £30 quid for one. I’m not paying that for one reflector! Haha

My passenger front bumper reflector is cracked. Anyone know the best place to buy them? Or anyone got a spare they want to sell? Getting respray soon so want them changed well its it’s being done.

Does it look like my car is holding the revs at the correct place? (HR) This is when it’s hot. The first photo is with air con on and the second is off. I’ve found people talk about it being between 500-750 but it’s hard to judge where that should be on the odometer. I also fine the revs are hunting slightly before settling. I can’t remember if this was normal before I had the gaskets replaced.

I’ve just had the gallery gaskets done. Haha

My oil pressure has gone weird. When the car is off it’s 0. When I turn the ignition on it’s around 60 psi, and when the engine starts it’s goes right up. The oil pressure never moved when the ignition was just on before. Any ideas? Photos are of a hot car in the above order?

so this is looking about right then? I hear people saying it should be on 30 but my is slightly below. My revs seems quite low though so maybe it’s that.

Yes they are the ones who did mine. I’m glad to see it’s not just mine with the red light on. Horsham have been really helpful with the whole job actually. I’ll be going up for an Uprev at some point.

So an update on this. Gaskets replaced and oil pressure back to 30psi at hot idle Unfortunately in addition to the cracked sump housing the car developed a problem with the ecu during the work and the idle reset wouldn’t work. The ecu needed to be sent off to be re-flashed. This added an extra £500 to my already big bill. But I’m so happy to have the car back and working well (so far) Only thing to mention is that the ecu light is always on now when driving. I’ve been advised to just cover it. My insurance went up by £2.65 for the year with the removal of the immobiliser. I had a van for the 7 weeks my car was in the garage. The zed feels like rocket now.

It was a gasket problem. Gaskets changed and oil pressure back to 30psi when hot.

How much is the part mate?

I took my car in for an oil pressure test today. Unfortunately when my mechanic screwed his pressure testing machinery into the upper oil pan sensor hole he cracked the housing. Has this happened to anybody else before? And is it going to be a big job to replace? The garage have been very honest and taken responsibility. They even said that the work done to replace or repair could be done at same time as my front Gallery gasket to reduce labour. Anyone had any Experience of this problem, or any advice I could pass on to my mechanics?

I haven't used them before, but they have been recommended to me. They seemed like a professional setup when i saw them yesterday. Booked in for next Wednesday for a proper oil pressure check to make sure its not just my gauge reading wrong. Its not going to be a cheap trip. I have this job + New exhaust (ordering a cobra cat back system), brake pads and possibly discs and possibly some suspension bits. I dont think ill have much change from 2k :(

I’d love to go to one of those guys. Being in Cornwall is a pain in the ass. I have a couple of dealers in cornwall but im not sure how competent they are!

Symptoms on my HR @ 72k miles;. Low oil pressure a bit jittery at low speed / rpm revs doing some odd things. Spoke to to someone today who said it could be the oil gasket? What does anyone else think? How can this be diagnosed ? Is this a job any good mechanic can do? Attached is my warm idle oil pressure.

It’s lower than it used to be. It’s also slightly juddery in lower speeds. Im worried it’s going to blow up now!

Unfortunately I believe this problem is to do with the leaking oil gasket. I spoke to someone at Cougar store today and all the symptoms point towards that. I have HR at 71,000 miles which is around the time this problem occurs apparently. I’ve attached a photo of my warm oil pressure. WHAT DO YOU THINK?

Sweet. My air filters are probably due for a change. No idea how to do the throttle body clean but I’ll either watch a video or get my garage to do it. Thanks man.
