Very hard to properly judge noise via a video , best thing is to ask a local owner and see if they will give you a demo, otherwise its a leap in the dark . If you dont have to worry about upsetting neighbours then you can get away with a loud system but on cold start these can be very fruity

GTR is electronic everything, Z is mechanical
What do you mean by this ? Whats mechanical on the 370 that is electronic on the GTR?
Are you familiar with the things you can do with the computer system in the GTR? That plus launch control and the rather more sophisticated traction control system. With the Z's you get what you're given or you buy and bolt on a new part, and the traction control system's just a big 'nope' system which stops both rear wheels from spinning in equal measure.
Is what I mean.
Yes I'm familiar with the complex electronics associated with the awd system on the GTR, obviously the 370z lack these along with the AWD, mechanically the rear differentials on both cars are similar, the 370z still has electronic traction control (yes its crap and basically shuts the throttles completely) but an improved version along with launch control is available with software like ECUtek

Well, I've not seen them then if there's been that many. Fluid low and light flashing yes, lots of them, but midway and flashing? First I've heard.
Extremely common on the 370z , usually you notice the handbrake light coming on when you go around roundabouts or hard acceleration , lots of threads on it

I wouldn't expect a level sitting at midway to cause those issues, that's just odd or screams of crap design!
Its a Nissan Yep they like to be kept at or very close to the maximum mark

Straight decats are by far the loudest option. Dominic had decats with a stock system on the charged one (and it sounded nice) but when he went to the ARK grip it was just too loud so he went for the motordyne ones. On my n/a car i had the invidia and bought his old decats and it became much louder and added the hiss on over-run typical with decats (much reduced with the motordyne ones)
Even with the motordyne decats and the ark grip the supercharged one was 99db on idle when cold.
-
I found the motordynes quieter than a decat but louder than hfc by some margin

New Z
in Other Cars
Agreed, they couldn't, however the OP has posted on a forum to people who do
But a forum that has a very very small number of owners who buy new and they are the ones who influence the market, not the person looking to buy a 10 year old car

They improve feel a great deal you feel much more connected to the brakes especially at higher speeds, I fitted a set to my first GT Edition and it took around 2 hours to do including bleeding so arrange it at the same time as a fluid change

That's a real shame, correct me if i'm wrong but that meet has been running for quite some time.
I've been going off and on since 2005 and it was going before that

Always always always buy on condition not age and not mileage, not sufficient difference between the models to be relevant imo
-
Cant see Nissan making a 500hp rwd car either
The running gear out of the hybrid E class would be nice and there is already an engine tie up with Infiniti
-
Just in case anyone hasnt heard, this meet is now cancelled until further notice thanks to some idiot showing off and crashing into someones pride and joy .
-
Still have these . Worthwhile upgrade imo
-
The key here is "staying on" , loss of traction will cause the T/C light to flash but it only stays on if there is a fault with the system.
-
I cant see how the traction light coming on and staying on will be anything to do with the tyres fitted , possibly when the tyres were fitted an abs sensor was damaged but as I said you need to see if there are any fault codes on there

I found AF pretty good on modified cars but the renewal on my Jag came through at an eye watering £680 , I found it elsewhere for £420

Yes I bought the big bottles from the guys i mentioned and decanted my own , they still do this as my mate does it still . If you get a chest freezer then you dont need to mess around with pumping kit , put the bottle in overnight and then connect up and it will fill to 9 or 10 pounds on its own
drop them a line , they may not be taking anymore customers though
-
Check the front drop links for wear , ime 370z's eat them and play is most noticable on full lock

Linde gases used to do it but I used these guys back when I used to run nitrous http://www.nitrousoxidesupplies.co.uk/
RSE are down as a refill station on the NOSwizard site but many places are much more wary of filling bottles nowadays due to abuse

First off make sure the brake fluid is at the max level and then get the codes read , lots of things can cause this and low brake fluid is often the cause for the handbrake light.

It does look very nice and I'm a bit of a watch chap and I do own a Gear 2 and whilst the functionality is ok , for some reason the screen shattered about 3 months after i bought it , no idea how and I have never broken a watch glass before and am used to wearing expensive ones , trying to get the screen replaced was hopeless , couldnt find anyone in Samsung that would commit to doing it , eventually bought the parts myself and got a mate to have a go and he sorted it , for that reason I wont consider another Samsung watch
-
Yes it does
All GT cars did, not only the GT edition..
I do find the viscous diff works well, it allows a bit more slip..
Ok not the immediate bite of a mech diff but more than adequate for fast road work
I found the stock diff unpredictable , lock up varies massively with oil temperature, best mod I ever did on my car was to replace it
As for dyno figures you will easily see 328hp out of a stock 370z on some dyno's, especially a Dynojet but I only posted mine as many people can relate to dyno dynamics charts and a large amount of people on here have had their car on the H-Dev rollers so can compare it to their own car.

370z is very much a GT car , its not an out and out sports car not surprised that a decent hot hatch is more than a match for it, on the roads most hot hatches could keep with a 370z

Nice one , the extra boost will likely make a difference all the way through as well
