  1. fitted my carbon front lip today, Bit of prep work - removed the flexible plastic strip from below the bumper, was easier than I expected just had to drill through half a dozen rivets then a wipe down with some degreaser and ready for fitting Couldn't get my jack under the car so had to drive up onto a couple of bricks to raise her a bit Did a quick test fit and was pleasantly surprised at the good fit, just snapped into place Bit of tigerseal and several hidden self tapping screws and job done with no pain (seems I was worrying over nothing) Really pleased with the result Also fitted my side steps but don't like them so they'll be coming back off ASAP so if anyone wants a set of 370 side steps they'll be for sale on here very soon, very cheap (probably next weekend if not sooner) Very pleased with the front lip though, can't wait to get my spoiler fitted thanks Mitz
  2. Very nice, carbon parts are my favourite, look forward to seeing fitted pics
  3. Have you thought about maybe ripping your cd collection on to a pc then transferring the files on to an iPod/MP3 player which you could then plug into your amp
  4. ^^^ result, good to hear now you can continue treating your zeditis I recommend regular doses of modification and goodies for your zed
  5. Result I think I'll try contacting my insurance company direct when renewal time comes, always worth a try to maybe save a few £££
  6. They've done a top job there, paintwork looks amazing Spacers make a huge difference too, wheels fill the arches nicely now So what's next on your ever growing to do list now you have full on zeditis *edited for spelling mistake
  7. Hi& Research is the key, plenty of experience on here and test drive several as some will be noticeably better than others. Good luck with your search

  11. If all goes well there'll be pics but if it goes south then it'll just be blue language Well if it does go wrong, just pay a garage body shop to fit it & tell us all you did it but you where to busy to take pics, ...we'll never know. did you just read my mind
  12. If all goes well there'll be pics but if it goes south then it'll just be blue language Got my fingers x'd and a friend coming round to help so hopeful for a good result, haven't had chance to try a dry test fit yet though as when I finish work it's dark and it hasn't stopped raining since it was delivered but I'm off this weekend and forecast looks favourable so all being well pics up Saturday pm
  13. Thanks GMB I was thinking all three, belt & braces if that makes sense, but thought it best to ask
  14. ^^This or.. ^^ This. Absolutely +10000000 the suspense is killing me now
  15. when I bought my 370z last year I also was torn between the 370z and the z4 with the folding metal roof but opted for the 370z (obviously as I'm here now on this forum ) for me though the choice was made easier for 2 reasons, firstly for me anyway the 370 seemed to have more cabin space, I know that may sound strange as its a 2 seater but it just felt like it had a bit more space inside and I found it more comfortable, secondly my mrs (the gaffer ) hated the z4 personally I think as I said earlier they both have good and bad points but for me anyway the zed won.
  16. Sweet, don't forget to post up how the test drive goes, good luck
  17. I would say drive both cars in both manual and auto variants if you're able to, that may help you to decide. There's probably good and bad points to both but it depends on what you feel is best for you, reviews aside its a personal choice where one person prefers the z4 another will prefer the 370. Enjoy a few test drives before trying to decide
