I do the same thing. Got nothing to do this weekend & nowhere to be but f**k it if I'm not still going to take my Mrs out in the Zed just for the hell of it.

Know what you mean as I had an JDM Impreza WRX that I sunk thousands into ~ tbh I really wish I'd bought a Zed back then instead as I know now it's a better car in so many ways for me. Don't get me wrong as I loved my Impreza and the rush from a 4wd turbo is incredible, ...but the Zed just feels like more of a real drivers car and just seems to effortlessly eat up the road in front of it. Plus it's proving more reliable as a daily driver which is what I need.

Ah what a bummer ~ guess somethings just can't be rushed though. Wish him all the best and hopefully he's not too over worked.

Glad you're pleased. Definitely one of the best if not the best car so far that I have owned.

Great guide imo. I did my sidelights the same way but never realized that I could do the headlamp bulbs this way too if needed. Following this for future reference.

Second video works great now. I think it's great that you follow through with what you say you're going to do and I know I appreciate the videos & informative posts you've made. If I was looking at getting the exhaust there is a lot of great information in your posts that would have helped me decide and I'm sure it will help fellow owners out. I did a video the other day using a suction mounted camera on my rear window facing backwards as I drove the Zed which turned out reasonable considering I have the crappiest camera available from about 10 years ago. Welcome aboard. Love my 350 and I've had a fair few fast Jap cars before it including a JDM Impreza WRX and an EP3 Type R. It's a different type of driving machine obviously to those two mentioned but still a great all round car imo & very capable on track. Take a look at this Zed on track and tell me that doesn't look like fun; Also it can drift too if needed;

Probably fixed it by ye old method of smacking a closed fist on top of the rev counter.

Not sure tbh but with all this talk on here lately of Skyline R33/R34/R35's I think that may be where I next go looking for a new motor. Can't imagine selling my Zed at the moment but then I've not had it anywhere near as long as you have. Have you thought about investing some cash in a Supercharger set up for your Zed maybe? That would definitely change the way it drives for you and cost you probably no more than £5K odd to do.
