  1. Yeah, I want it to be a bit different. Was thinking the twin pipes, with some stupidly wide wheels will suit the look I'm after. (A tidier drift shed) . Ha.
  2. I was thinking of getting a custom straight pipe made up, but with a centre silencer as I don't want anything louder than my k1 haha, just wondering weather anyone had anything like this, I was thinking of twin exit angled out on the left. Like this: Or just a single 3 or 4 inch pipe in the same style. Just wondering if anyone has done this or has any input on the idea. I know it won't be to everyone's taste, just bored normal twins.
  3. With a offset that low, I'm fairly sure they would. Haha.
  4. Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! I have been looking for a set of xt-206r in white 9.5j and 11j from a uk supplier for ages! How much!!!!! Pm me!
  5. Way too course! You need far finer, such as detailing paper at around 4000 grit. Even then you might still need to polish it after.
  6. That's what I thought Jay. But BMW are marketing the overboost as a good thing! The only thing I can think of is, the the fuelling and ecu allow the car to produce more boost for a short duration of time under hard acceleration, but if it's safe to do that why can't it do so all the time!
  7. Over boost is actually a bad thing, when the turbo randomly spikes, I've never really understood it as a sales feature.
  8. Hi mate. What size is your plate, as the one i ordered was too small that is perfect!
  9. Agreed, I was just saying how pleasantly surprised I was.
  10. Haha, I love a good debate, firstly it won't simply snap off, it's made from sheet aluminium, not cast, sheet metal is rolled with the aid of heat, there for it's quite a strong material, the way you brake sheet metal is through metal fatigue, this is when a material is bent repeatedly until it snaps, as the video above demonstrates, the idea of just driving along and it just suddenly just snapping off is just plain ridiculous.
  11. Or simply a different generation. :-P I'm the generation of slamming cars, rendering them in drivable, crazy tyre stretch, camber ect... What's safe? Ha.
  12. I agree if it bothers you that it's not real then buy a real one. I'm just saying i was surprised about how good it was! I was expecting as you've mentioned. That's why I put this up!
  13. My bumper is a genuine nismo, still @*!#. Aha.
  14. Also, how many people are running rota grids? There reps. Dare wheels are all cheap Chinese reps.
  15. God! You guys are such brand followers. Haha. A cheap boss I understand. But there's not much that can go wrong with a wheel! And there is zero flex in the wheel! Wait a min I my wheel spacers don't have ebachi stamped on them, there almost defiantly going to magically explode. :-/
  16. Not the same wheel mate. I did watch that and it's a load of bull, I pulled mine about no flex. .
  17. I bought this replica for £60 delivered. I was a bit sceptical buying a wheel from china. :-/. But I thought screw it I will go for it. So it came and to my amazement, it could fool quite a few! It came in a nardi box for a start. Hears some pictures to the extent they went to, to do a full blown fake! Ha And hears the best bit!! I'm sure the quality is not as good. But I'm sold on it being that it's a saving of 200%!! Anyone looking at them I can say that I'm happy with mine. .
  18. This always happens literally just ordered the nrg hub! .
  19. Not illegal, the law states no tyre tread may be out the arch, my mx5 was worse than that all round! . Ha.
  20. The cheapest I could get a full front end done was a cash only price of £600. I thought that was cheap! Ha.
  21. Private plate came today. nice way to hide the age. . Not only is it the origin where the car was born but also my initials.
