  1. Sorry for bumpin but ive been running a VH45 in my Z33 for a while (finished the swap in late spring 2014), sweet motor though its still stock. Not a big difference to the VQ but a nice noticable torque bump, good to have when the Z now weighs a bit more..
  2. *Update! Been running all summer, without any serious problems! I need to extend the stock power steering lines, havent done that yet and my arms are starting to ake! Rev vid:
  3. Mine's lays hidden inside the dashboard, replaced it with a HORN button, since the previous owner had a A/M steering wheel and the horn wire was gone. Fitted a stock steering wheel to get it through registration but the horn still didnt work with new wiring so i fitted a cute A/M button instead of the constantly disable ESP (ESP is UpRev'd away).
  4. I just shoehorned a VH45DE in my Z33, piece of cake ( )! Moved the gearbox back 70mm and got me a new prop shaft, this so that i could keep everything in front of the engine stock. I dont think a more narrow V'd V10 should be a problem
  5. Looking forward to the development of this
  6. Just a bad excuse, if they knew what they were talking about it wouldnt be an issue. Just FYI, checking the FSM, MT document, you can find the differences between the sychros in the different gearboxes. Double-cone, triple-cone etc.
  7. Its the bump stop for the throttle pedal, i saw'd off part of mine converting to throttle cable. Snaps right back up.
  8. I dont like cats... I had an issue some time ago which i assume has to do with the slave cylinder. The clutch pedal felt loose when pressed half way down. Went back to normal over night. Running ACT flywheel and clutch.
  9. If youre gonna disconnect the battery, press the brake pedal for about 10 sec too, to be sure
  10. Awesome, this has been bugging me a long time, gonna try this asap!
  11. Well.. mine wont be cheap i guess since its a runner, unless you count 'bout 1200 £ cheap that is. Will have to ship it from Sweden too since i imported it here from the UK.
  12. To late? 80k mls VQ35DE, Plenum spacer. Ran fine before i removed it, no weird smell, no leaks etc.
  13. I swapped a VH45DE in my 04 Z, alittle more torque always helps And BTW i got a 80k de for sale ^^
  14. Sorry to hear, glad she (the missus) is ok though
  15. I have 25mm spacers, with bolts in them, dont know the correct name Anyways, no prob yet, i simply bolt them up with the nuts that came with them and fasten the wheels with the stock nuts No alarming noise yet!
