I have X3ENS on my rx8 and just waiting for the tax disk to come through for X6ENS to go on the zed :-D unfortunately the only time it'll look cool is when they are both at home... Together lol

And FYI everyone it wasn't THAT long ago there was nothing wrong with driving on your phone - I don't remember the roads been chaos because of it :-/ Almost like the smoking in pubs thing .... The end of the world now but a few years ago a pub wasn't a pub unless it was full of smoke! Is the world better for the ban? - well we have less pubs I guess :-(

I think it's pretty sad that the police have nothing better to do that harass innocent road users! A lot of the things on that list I'd call some of my number 1 pet hates (central lane hoggers for 1 grrrrr!) I don't think people should be getting fined for them. It's just another f******* tax on road users to finance an ever growing, corrupt police force Go catch some real criminals I'd say!

It will im sure ... im struggling with myself at the moment i really want to go mad on her but i also really need to get the 8 together before i properly start! the trouble is im 1 of those 'well whilst im in there' kinda chaps hence the new 8 looking like this just found this of the workshop back when i wasnt so busy i could keep it clean :-( ... check the rx2 pretty 400bhp bridgy there with whopping snail on her ... genuinely picks its front wheels off the floor at launch - all out of a diddy 1.2 (12a twin dizzy) Anyway ... i really dont want the zed to wind up in pieces next to the 8 before i get the 8 back on the road so im trying to hold off modding a. to free up funds for the 8 - which is costing a bloody fortune and b. so i still have a nice car to drive when i want to (my other 8 is looking a bit forlorn these days ) just a little thing like the plenum spacer is turning into a marathon - something small and simple then i start with the 'well if im in there i may as well get the plenum's off and port em and the rocker covers need doings so ill do them - all that would be easier with the engine on a stand so i may as well do the headers to make it worth taking out but theres no point doing the headers without de-cats and back box and whilst its apart ill get a few bits powder coated here and there' so as you can see im chewing at the bit just at the min, i very nearlly have everything i need for the mazda to warranty putting it back together - then i can start on the zed properly

generally short shifters are amazing! they make gearchanges feel like slotting rounds in a bolt action rifle side effects tend to be noise, whats this 1 like? im fighting with myself here ... i have no intention of tracking the zed but i do love short shifters

still a bargain! whats the throw like on these then?? i should just buy it shouldnt i ...

it is with the rx8 ... carnt see these been different with the 8 you need the spare key to code the 1 your trying to code. trip to the dealer it is then, dont worry lewis i use Vaseline to build the rotary's so i have loads of the stuff! on a positive note least youll be able to get that second key

new number plates for the car arrived ... go really nicley with the plate ive had on the RX8 for years - least everyone will still know its me just got to get it transferred across this week

looking wider My main concern with the spacers is stone chips ... i wasnt going to do it at first but decided the arches really needed it!

whilst i was at it i figured i HAD to make the car mine so i ordered a set of spacers and Tein springs (17mm front 14 back enough for me! i enjoy driving my cars without worrying about speed bumps and pot holes ;-) ) got those on tonight not a single causality either! carnt believe how easy the nissan is to work on

Discovered oil in the plug hole for cylinder number six, so need new roxker covers and gaskets ... also ordered a plenum spacer so a perfect opportunity to port the upper and lower intake plenum's - watch this space

then into the garage with lewis for the service plugs drained the oil and added a nice clean k+n filter new aux belts nackard belt ... saw a few of these on sunday the lads late night cleaning

figured Id get something up about what im getting done with the car and the longer term plans for it! after i met a few of you on sunday i thought you may not mind me posting some pics of my car 1st things 1st - saturday night i gave her a bigish service (but not before a nice drive out with the roof down)
