Since having the front end of the zed resprayed last year the rest of the car has just been looking dull, flat and if I'm completely honest "a bit of a different colour". No matter how much money I threw at detailing products I've been generally struggling to make the colour on the rear end come back to life. So after trawling this forum plus detailing world (and not having the balls or the time to buy myself a DA) I decided to have a word with James from a company called TI22 based in Newport South Wales. He suggested a 2 day colour correction and swirl removal along with a full detail. Originally I was a little put off by the price but hey life's too short and Le Mans is just around the corner. I've got to say I'm well chuffed with the results. Even had him take some tired nismo stickers off as well as rebadging the Fairlady badge Anyway some before picture And some after shots (please excuse the crap pictures) Hopefully I can get some better shots tomorrow in some better light.

He's had it since new.... Only 43k miles on it and it's been to Le Mans 3 times. Definatly what he would of wanted. Shame my brother can't come otherwise I would of took that instead of the zed.

Insurance company's do make it up as they go along.... This time last year insurance for an import was only £50 more than a uk ..... This year nearly £200.... Oh and Adrain flux insurance said "because I haven't had the car for more than a year I'm high risk" never mind I'm 34, have 12years ncb and 0 points and the fact that if I was going to bin it I would of done so in the first few weeks! But they would give me discount if the wife was a names driver ??? Because most women and 200plus bhp rear wheel drive cars go well together 😳😳😳 (no offence to the women who can actually drive tho)....

Those seats look like they've been retrimmed at some point. Been looking at getting mine done and these are in my Xmas list. Different but I kind of like them

Is your sterling alarm fob a half moon? I think it's toad alarms that can program new fobs for it. All you need to do is find the alarm box and get the code from it. I was quoted £25 for a new fob.

A little bit off topic here, but it shows how poor customer service is from main dealers. My old man just recently put a deposit down on a nearly new Toyota lander cruiser with only 1900 miles on it worth £50k. When he went to pick it up 10 days later it had 4900miles on it, 2 shopping trolley dents and several stone chips on the front bumper. Turned out the "manager" had been using it to travel from Wales to Kent every day. They didn't even offer any money off or to fix the damage. Needless to say he walked away from it. He also had to use his solicitor to get his deposit back!..... Poor show
