Still illegal As far as i'm aware there isn't anything in the law that states whether you can/can't have a square plate. Just that the plate has to have legal sized lettering (in the correct font), with legal spaced letters, with legal white/yellow space around it. Plenty of cars use square plates, landrovers are one example. Same thing with metal plates, they are legal as long as they have the stamp as the law doesn't say what material the plate has to be made out of just that it has to be legal size. Taxi cabs are another example of square plates They use them so they can mount their taxi license next to it etc. Is that this one nipped in the bud then? Thought it was a bit strange that JDMs are allowed but UK cars cannot.

Is it a crime to ask questions about the product you're selling? It's a bit soon for me to be considering this as I have a fair bit of money to spend on other areas on the car and house. Hence why I said I don't wanna be seeing this now as the exhaust is an area I'm not happy with but it's not essential. In the unlikely event that this is still available once I've done the other things I will be placing my order based on the answer to the question I asked, or I will buy one from the next person selling. Yeah the cats are standard. It always seems to be when I'm going uphill (even slightly) and the car has to put a bit of effort in.

So after putting a new y pipe on because the old one was blowing, and new cats on because the old ones were blowing, my cobra sports exhaust is still so loud between 2k and 2.5k revs when labouring the engine that it engulfs the entine cockpit in an unbearable drone. The system is a Cobra resonated one and although is gives off a lovely rasp high up and is no bother low down it just seems that unless I'm on flat or downhill roads it just loves to try deafening me when I need to accelerate from 60 to 70. Now I know that dropping a cog in order to take it to 3k is one way of removing that problem but I'm after a more long term solution. Is there a chance that part of the system is touching the chassis? Or am I just gonna have to go out and get a DC Sports system? (May take some :ph34r: levels of ghosting in!)

I did this last week and the plugs will be pretty self explanatory. The actual electric motors will work but I think the passenger side one doesn't have a plug for the airbags so you will end up with a flashing airbag light on the dashboard. Still haven't overcome this as I haven't had time so if you figure it out drop me a pm. Fitting it is a piece of gypsy's kiss, 4 bolts and they're out! Do it nice or do it twice!
