  1. Hey When I saw your for sale thread - it made me think.. I have same year as you I paid a couple hundred more.. but fsh nissan stamped etc.. and I did think to myself I couldnt sell for a loss not at 6 months ownership... But hey now your keeping the z time to move back to tyres you say you want falkens? Couldnt you be A little persuaded to go for MPSS.. I have to tell you I never felt anything like it.. the grip the feedback... these tyres make you forget your in a 300hp rwd car grip is just astonishing imho. My opinion save the money get MPSS
  2. As above.. I dont think a type r B16 B18 engine has ever failed? I personally never heard of one letting go. Tbh I think ur kill clutches n gearbox's even trying to hurt it.. reguler oil changes and your good to go.. I extend what I believe is fantastic build quality to most Jap car makers.. but I think Honda may steal top spot on reliability ;-)
  3. Why not go for the Integra Type R,, still the only car to scare the B jayzus out of me (i know im making words up) i oddly miss my DC2,,look what less than 4k can get you! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HONDA-INTEGRA-TYPE-R-1-8-DOHC-VTEC-CLEAN-JDM-IMPORT-DC2-/261311004567?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item3cd7597f97
  4. Totally agree, but i personally see that as representing part of our **** take culture. i for example in an unnamed Redditch factory where i once had the joys to work at sigh. the warehouse lads would probably be in hysterics over that vid, infact id put money on them already seeing it and laughing at it. why do i say that,, well through experience they/them (dick heads ive worked with) get off on peoples miss fortune as one lad from Bromsgrove put it "its normal to rip people with cancer" and in his words "if i get cancer id expect people to rip me" ffs what's wrong with the young lads of today if they think ripping into cancer patients is fun! im 32 and im slowly turning into my dad " damn youth of today lol" remember when.... damn what was it called ... oh yea Happy Slapping was all the rage on youtube !! again i know the vid isn't over violent in nature! but you can tell the guy is definitely part of the **** take culture!
  5. Nice litte Anime :-D Bruce Lee is an absolute legend.. died far too young... he set a standard for his time,he cast real Martial artists. He raised the bar for on screen physical performance, and technique.. After he died the silly Martial arts films returned.. damn think il have to put on one of his films now
  6. Ty for this tip.. another life hack learned!
  7. set the temp to 21 C or whatever you're comfortable with This ^ ice cold not the only option FTFY Ty
  8. set the temp to 21 C or whatever you're comfortable with This^
  9. Aircon once saved my life.. not long after buying the Zed I got caught on the M40 in the rain Nat speed limit... then suddenly steamed windscreen... all I say is im glad trying the aircon was one of my first choices...I spent a breif moment not being able to see.. heart in your mouth moment
  10. a 4 page explosion because of differing opinions.. BBW Cola pops and somehow a convo about Rims lost in translation somewhere lol
  11. No sign of OP.. his thread just got a life of its own.. Tbf though he did want opinions and the thread sure did deliver that!
  12. Why would they suit a £20k Audi or Vauxhall and not a £5k Zed I think there will be more and more chavvy Zeds about, just have to get used to the fact Sent from the Jaaaaaag at the golf club YAAAARRRRRRRPPPPPPPPPP Because they are similar to the optional OEM rims available from dealers, nothing to do with the value of the car. For some reason the zed seems to suit deep dish or uber concave the best. i agree with the above, infact you find most Jap rwd (drift) cars all seem to be enhanced by a bit of deep dishy im a sucker for Rota's myself Its more what 'expected' rather tgan they suit it, I personally love the look of a standard Zed, I think deep dished look very american and a bit stupid in the UK but there you go.... I just wondered why chavvy wheels didn't suit a Zed, I think they would but not what I would want personally... A 350z is now a cheap car, people spending thousands on wheels & brakes etc are just not getting it, keep it OEM and you have a really nice cheap car that is awesome to drive, not worth spending hours polishing deep dish wheels etc just drive it Sent from the Jaaaaaag at the golf club YAAAARRRRRRRPPPPPPPPPP very true, i still haven't touched a single thing mod wise. I personally been enjoying the car as is! tbf i have become keen on Volks.... but with that said imho if im going to be laying out what could possibly be half the value of the car on rims, then realistically you would want to be owning the car for a fair few years to justify the spend, i could see it happening you spend a couple k on rims, abit more on a cat back so you spend a few k and i can still see my car being the same value pre spend! i suppose its all about disposable income
  13. True cars have gotten cheaper,, but i think ownership age is roughly the same. As i dont see many teenagers affording the insurance <-- if they did they got way more disposable income than i got that'l be for sure I still like how the OP wasnt flamed off the board for not having the (forum excepted rims) i dont want to hijack the thread but man.. haha i been on forums where it would be flame city if you didnt confirm to "their" norm!! anyhow OP let us know what you decide on ?
  14. Haha yea.. dont forget all the fake chinese knock offs.. tbf I been looking at the volks line up myself

  16. What your find is every car club has its own .... hmm best described as vibe.. TBH this forum is one of the most easy going forums you can belong to.. honda forum - you touch the cosmetic look in anyway thats not OEM. your car will be called haddock GTR forum,, following a thread and links to a GTR forum a guy here bought one and has probably landed himself in one of the most snootiest forums i have ever seen. FEOC - laid back but you need a ford (my past life) SxOC - actually very warm they allowed me back when Hond's ITR forum proved itself to a total "tnuc" this forum - very friendly and as someone said above Jetpilot why spend a ton of money and then short change on the rims! lol if this was the Honda forum they would of verbally annihilated you damn OEM nut jobs!
  17. just googled them, they look nice i noticed most people go for rays grids volks on theirs, typical higher price wheels, 20 inch rims for less than 800 found here ! http://www.wheelbase...CFe7HtAodK2gAGQ
  18. again thats my point i hold Jdm in such high esteem.. apart from ebay theres a few Jap car auctions i frequent... and at times its like a kid being in a Candy shop.. GTR's S15's DC2 DC5 Teggys But damn Hollowpoint the car in your sig is Seggsual lol -(dont ask lol) also dare i say it would make a great poser car
  19. Good discussion going on in here!.. some of the posts are breaking my own personal beliefs towards JDM build quality which i think is the best in the world (imho) i personally owned a 94 silvia - engine bullet proof started like a new car and only had the clutch go 98 spec Type R Integra - i used n abused the living nuts of that machine and it didnt even seem bothered 100% bullet proof but there you go my current 350z makes it only my 3rd Jap car! so maybe i got lucky with previous cars, or i just havent sampled enough 90's cars to have met the costly ones? that said touch wood ** for what paid for my current 350 would of bought me the 300zx in the first link, but so far my 9 year old Zed drives like its brand new! so touch wood 6 months of ownership and just got servicing costs coming up with it this thread should be good for anyone thinking they may just go buy a winter bargain,, it pays to ask about first ! also i noticed no one has said anything about Top Gear!!,, is there no one here that remembers such an episode done by Clarkson where he does a programme about the 300zx and meets people who were modding them i believe figures like 600 bhp etc were stated and back then (just like now) doubling the power of a 300zx is a massive increase nobody remember this episode... im only 32 i cant be that old - also i cant find it on youtube either i looked Rob
  20. Yes I remember when Clarkson did a Top Gear years ago.. these cars were some of the first to be tuned to big hp for the time.. I remember mostly done by guys who owned Curry houses.. the car back then second hand wasnt cheap todays gtr supra tt money if not more... I wonder how many people can remember that episode
  21. Dw im not selling the 350 .. I want to get that ready to tour across the borders france maybe netherlands etc.. Its just i still cant get head around a V6 turbo.. for 4k..
