thought id chime in again!, was going to add if I had endless money id go buy a dc2 integra jap spec type r again, purely as its still the only car to scare the absolute sh!t outta me! any type r owner should know, is where was the edge that point of no return!.. I felt in my dc2 I could push n push into every corner... but at some point your mind will say! where is the edge! I obv never found it!.. il admit selling my dc2 broke my heart (at the time finances dictated the sale!) il never forgive myself for selling it though! ... but in the same light I have the same luv for the zed ! wish I could afford both!

you know, now ive bought the car, i wouldnt mind the following nismo exhaust £1500 new Deep dish alloys with Michelins roughly £2000 ok so 2 items in ive destroyed 3 and a half K obv i could halve that with second hand so yes Zeditus is real! so far im keeping her or it at bay by going slightly OCD with detailing lol! not to mention new sound system aftermarket induction coilovers ahh

After having a 98 spec type R Integra.. theres no going back for me now... the Z is a whole different enjoyment factor . . From the grumblings of the 3.5V6 to that amazing pull from all that torque 3rd gear 20mph put ur foot down and hold on. The type r as you know needs to be on the boil in the high lift cam range to feel that Running costs I dont honestly think its any worse just know decent tyres start at 150 quid each (just example) Infact dare I say I got worse mpg in the teggy well lol Vtec yo :-D Honestly go test drive 1

definitely, i got next week off, so weather depending il do a review!, i will say it took a couple of hours to just do the bennet lol, wash clay bar wash again then polish! my neighbor thinks im mad (although my neighbors detailing doesnt go beyond a quick spray with his jet washer lol) so far il add my personal view on why i choose the Black box, is i wanted to see whats the best i can do to bring out the cars paint work, before going down drastic or expensive routes, example as far as im aware because the black box polish, acts like a filler, so instead of cutting the paint like T cut, or to a lesser extent autoglym resin polish which i have always been led to believe mildly cuts your paint, this kit provides a temporary but safe solution ?. but so far on the bumper its covered the majority of stone type chips, and a fair amount of hair line scratches only a couple deeper hair line scratches still visible but again il go back to it next week! anyhow im rambling its 1 am and the night shift caffeine is kicking in now! Hey guys, after 1 week of driving the Zed il like to announce theres no going back now is there, i got in the wifes 1.6 focus and thought it was broke lol! seriously, i freaking luv this car, i had last mon to thurs off and pretty much used any excuse to drive somewhere in it! totally stock car but to me i luv it last week after a demon shine snow foam ive only had the chance to clay bar and turtle wax black box the bonnet (due to how the weathers been! but i will be reporting back how im finding the black box, so far i can say its definitely covered over alot of blemish's over than that im finding the car an absolute joy to drive, im stll refering to the manual lol for the cockpit controls, and im trying to figure out why the car locks itself even with engine running ? good job i had spare key last week oops sigh anyhow i wont go too far into this subject but i noticed since owning the car ive received a fair bit of hate or jealousy even having a family member come over to fb (and this is petty) to state oh thats slow better go buy a sierra 4x4, wtf seriously the zed has more power anyway and quicker 0-60, not just that but people who i used to work with have gone sour about me buying a zed after a nice phone call to ex work buddy! and to top it off whilest i was in the back of the garage a group of middle school aged yobs il call them were walking past when one lad was in mid sentence of "Oh this is how i break car aerials back in Ireland so i bolted out my garage and just stared him out so im guessing my car has also become a target now, i went without a car for 2 years to buy a car of my dreams and i aint letting no lil s**t bag damage it (maybe thats just Redditch mentality for you sigh ?) anyhow, im looking forward to meeting up with other Zed owners, Rob

i just want to chime in here!, i want to state i wasnt even remotely driving fast in the wet with one instance that the s14 took me for a spin was a small roundabout inbetween redditch and evesham, small roundabout entered casually exited sideways guess it was the off center camber of the small roundabout!, but i want to add the zed feels good in the wet, its got Michelin sports on all 4 corners i guess there mpss? and again it rained heavey driving her home when i picked her up and was amazed at how well i could still feel the road, also want to add i been reading Ekona's threads about tyres good read buddy! Will do.. I was looking in the meets thread last night.. Was thinking meets are a good way of seeing what others are doing with theirs. You know I went from not seeing that often a Zed in Redditch , to then see another black zed pulling out the bp garage.. as I was going in But ye that was me if that fella is reading this

Ahh the wet and FR/RWD cars, seriously treat the wet with respect,, 5 years ago i owned an S14, and just like HEADPHONES said, my first experience was exiting a roundabout with my foot casually/lightly on the throttle and suddenly the rear is over taking me even at the relatively small speed i was doing, this happened a few times in the wet, it was almost no matter how light i touched the throttle every now n then the S14 reminds you it wants to KILL YOU! in the wet, Then one day it nearly did, 2nd gear into 3rd, just entering the highway from a roundabout and the rear let go, .. a fish tail or two later im in a crash , my head bust open bleeding everywhere over my clothes - conscious but needing 6 stitches to fix my scalp up (the scar remains the hair dont grow in that scar line!) since then i vowed to stay away from RWD so i did i owned a FWD Integra for a few years! (fun car), but here i am owning one of my dream cars!,, a 350Z and its a RWD ive even tried to convince myself it will be a dry weather only car! but hey already broke that rule, driving her home last wednesday it was raining by the time i got level with warwickshire, and just told myself im in it now! but found myself feeling the 350z feeling fairly stable and had no issues! but the S14 definitely leaves some bad memories for me! as with whats said above i can only imagine bad things happening giving a 350Z full beans in the wet! id like to add ive riden motorbikes for 15 years and my current Ninja 636 in all weather conditions, and it amazes me how much safer my bike is than it was driving the S14 anyways even im interested to know, beings the Zed is n/a so the smoothe power delivery is less likely to break the rear on light throttle than the S14, as the S14 is a turbo Rob

Hey thank you for the messages!, night shifts so im back on the forum got a fair few more threads to read through. thanks for the above recomendation il search that thread, i have gone through the handbook,, i believe il be doing that a few more times (i've worked a few things out) im still in an excitable state, the car keeps throwing some new things i didnt spot!, 3 hours ago i noticed there is knee pads for both driver/passenger side, car impressed me this morning,, so im driving i can see the petrol needle is low, and im looking and im thinking to myself hmm my daily focus tells me how many miles i got left, and im driving glancing down and thinking hmm i cant see anything telling me, then all a sudden the mph on the display pod switched and i believe was showing you got 30 miles to go, ,and im suddenly im having a yes thats nice moment! ive since found the button to switch through the options and i got to say another impress moment was the one saying i avg 27 mpg, 27!! thats bettered my expectations 3.5v6 and 27mpg well 6th gear 70 mph most way home lol! to the guy above my route home took me past thorpe park etc then a near 100 mile up the m40 to where i live! so im 2 hours away from there buddy sorry ok off to read and read some more! so many questions need answering lol Rob

Hey guys well its 1am, posting my first post with pic (hopefully it uploads) i work nights, but instead of sleeping today i drove a near 300 mile round trip to collect my new Lady in my life (yea believe thats an attempt at a pun) anyways il keep the intro short im really tired! but was soo worth it!, to drive 150 miles today in a car ive never driven before to unbelievable sound track that is the v6 im obviously over the moon the 150 mile journey back was a great test in the car too, no knocks bangs no over heating issues no odd noises etc except the lovley v6, hopefully there is a pic below this sentence well im off to loiter around the forum, lots to learn about the car which i guess most are simple things when you know them, but i had a funny moment driving up the m25 and trying to figure how to use the 3 dials for the heaters/aircon system lol, bit hit n miss but got it in the end anyways HI Rob aka Sempiternal
