I would recommend replacing the compression arm bushes first as this would be cheaper than replacing the whole arm.

If you message Ewen at ClarkMotorsport, he will be able to sort you out with a new set of bushes.

These are great, don't think you'd get the structural integrity of a normal door.

What sort of weight is it? How much would you be selling it for?

The reason I ask is I am looking at replacing all bushes on the zed to SuperPro eventually. So I need something that will be strong enough to press old ones out and press new ones in.

I am looking at purchasing a hydraulic press. Would a 6t press be adequate to press out suspension bushes.

I seem to be experiencing this all the time. Just seems that people don't get excited with the special bond zed owners should have :teeth: . It se ems to be the people which are driving the HR versions or the 370Z.

Max revs is a guy who doesn't know what the redline means I believe, as this discussion has taken many different forms haha have a little read its rather interesting.

Seems like everybody has creeped her out now. Hopefully she will post more about her car, as I think this will be an interesting build.

Just been to see the car at the garage.

 

Miles are slightly higher than I thought at 38k but the body work is really tidy apart from the bumpers.

 

The clicking sound is clearly the speaker in the drivers door. Other than that the interior is immaculate for a 9 year old car.

 

My big initial worry is the roof. I didn't try for long but it seemed dead. The switch doesn't seem to do anything. Hopefully it will be a fuse.

 

The garage are checking the car over to make sure there are no nasty surprises before I buy it.

This might be obvious, but did you depress the brake pedal before pressing the switch?
