  1. Can't believe you are selling Mike after all the patience we had to put this all together!

I hope you don't regret the decision mate. I've got an M3 V8 and still kept the zed. With the supercharger and brakes/handling mods my zed is faster in any comparison.

But I would agree that if you have to keep only one car the C63 ticks more boxes,(performance, practicality, reliability?)

I know. This hasn't been an easy decision really as a lot of time and effort has been put into the journey so far. However I would like to thank Bennett for the help, advice and more importantly the patience as I can be difficult sometimes.

The decision was made due to the fact I couldn't stop myself making further modifications even after the supercharger to get the car perfect. This would become a personal money pit in order to achieve the results I am after, which I know it would be unique.

Selling my sc zed was worst mistake I made, Bennett was right I'd regret it 👎

I will definitely be sad to see the zed go as this a car that I have admired / lusted over since school days.

  2. Hi Everybody,

I am looking at selling all the parts I have accumulated over the last year. The decision not supercharge and sell the 350Z hasn't been an easy decision.

I will except either PayPal or direct bank transfers.

  3. I've bought my car now, so most likely will be buying this, but could do with some advice on the gauges themselves & likely cost of fitting (for boost and oil temp) to make sure it's feasible on my budget before buying the pod. GMBallistic I'll PM you to pick your brains if that's ok? Meanwhile, Mike, please keep me in mind!

I purchased glowshift boost and oil temp gauges from the states. I don't think that they was that expensive, something like £150.00.

ah nice. may I ask what site you used, and how long they took to arrive? Did they come with all the appropriate sensors etc, or is that just for the gauges themselves? Ta! :)

They came with the fitting kit and sensors etc. They took approx. 1wk to arrive.

  5.

I haven't had a great deal of time to progress with the supercharger build, due to work and university (exams). Now that I have a little spare time, I will be progressing with the build, hopefully for completion in the summer time as I don't fancy doing anything to the car while the weather is like it is.

I would like to say a BIG thank you to both Eve @ AQUAGRAPHIX and Jack @ ROYAL STEERING WHEELS for making this next little update happen. I am extremely happy with the results and I would recommend them to everybody who is looking at lifting the appearance of your zeds interior. There both exceptional at what they do, and no doubt I will be using their services in the near future.

  7. Has anybody fitted aftermarket seats into a roadster?

The reason I ask is because the passenger seat is part of the roof opening function, and not sure if there is a way in which this can be linked out to "trick" the control unit into thinking the seat has already moved?

    Did a little search :)

  8. Im currently working on a complete I.C.E install for my zed, I have bought all my equipment just need to sort a wiring kit out.

    I have 2 amps, 409 wrms + 648 wrms = 1057wrms total.

Taking the length of cable into account I believe a 4 gauge will be sufficient, if i was to add more power in the future I would definitely go a bit thicker but I can't see any reason why I would need it.

According to a guide I've found, an estimate on the max amps I may draw is 153a, does this mean I should use an similar rated fuse? Most 4awg wiring kits offer fuses in the region of 60-80a, would there be any complications with swapping the fuse out for a higher one?

If so what size fuse should I get?

    Cheers, Liam.

The fuse shouldn't be sized higher than the rated current of the cable as this may cause an electrical fire, as you will end up heating the cable up before the fuse goes (if it goes).

If you let me know what amps you are going to be running I will have a look into what fuse size you will require :)
