  1. I would like to thank Ewen and the crew at Clark Motorsport for been extremely helpful and prompt with my order for some brake pads.

I would highly recommend using them. They have my future custom for any of the Zeds needs or wants.

Plus there is an added bonus in your package if you have a sweet tooth  .

    Cheers again Ewen.

  2. I had the same problem last year where my insurance was coming out at £2k on the import and approx. £4.5k on a uk spec. So I waited a year before purchasing and I ended up with around £300 between the cost of insurance of a import and a uk spec cabriolet (£1,100). This quote was £300 more than my old 2005 Hyundai Coupe 2.0, so it was a win win really.

Just wait until your insurance has come down and you won't be disappointed :teeth: .

P.S. It might be worth obtaining a quote from Only Young Drivers :) although they do ask some silly questions, what are your views on speeding, seat-belts, booster seats etc.

  3. Before I went to purchase the 350Z I was obviously looking for one. So I went on a trip to the local Nissan dealership in Hull and spoke to the sales guy and asked "Do you have any 350z's" the dealer replied with "No but we do have the brand new Nissan Leaf, would you be interested". I don't know about you but this seems like a really bad sales pitch to me.

!!!! Now Autotrader are doing it !!!

  4. I have just recently bought a 350Z.

My old car was a Hyundai Coupe 2.0 which I had insurance for £880.00 for third party fire and theft. I then went out a bought the zed with one month remaining on my old policy and they wanted £2100 for the remainder. So I switched my policy over to only young drivers which are charging me £1100 for the full year and fully comp.

I found that looking at the coupe imports the insurance was cheaper than that of UK specs, but the price I pay is for a cabriolet which again I have found to be more expensive again.

    Check out Only Young Drivers

  5. I wouldn't imagine it would be a fault.

Have you tried swapping the bulbs around to check if there is a genuine fault. If not then just get some new bulbs or even better get the garage to put the correct ones in :).

    Hopefully you'll sort it.

  6. Hi Gents and Girls,

Is there any local jap car meets in Hull I do remember Nippon Squad being based at the beefeaters in Wilerby (is this still going).

It would be good to meet other local Z owners. I got my first flash whilst driving through Brid on Monday afternoon by a Silver 350Z Nismo.

Fast-N-Modded are having a re-union meet on the 29/05/2013 at Bergen Way, Sutton Fields, Hull which starts at 07:30p.m. Get your selfs down to show off your zeds.

    Cheers

  7. Almost a full tank. I put the Tesco 99 in which was a total of £95.99.

Coming from a little 2.0i Hyundai Coupe it is a massive difference, but it is a much more exciting car to drive.

Got a nice seaside drive today so will need to fill up again I think!

  8. 350z owners,

I am now going to the proud owner of a 350z and cannot wait to join in with this AWESOMENESS :yahoo:

I have long lusted over this car, as everytime I see one I used to turn 'Radio 1' down (OFF) and just listen to them pass.

I have opted for the cabriolet version so I hope I have made the right decision! I can't imagine I will be going on the track so listening to the growling V6 and that distinct exhaust note with the top down will do just fine.

I will post pictures up once I have picked it up.

    Cheers

    Mike
