Hi Bud,
This sounds right up my street, I would recommend downloading the free version of VB.NET as you should be able to build nicer looking GUI than you can in VBA as its very limited to what control you can use.
I fancy building something similar, but struggling to get the time as I am building my own desktop application to carry out various engineering tasks such as safety calculations etc.
I will keep up-to-date with this, if you require anything regards to programming I may be able to assist

Having previously owned 2 Mazda 3 MPS's, im aware of Autotraders issues. Since the 6MPS is AWD it had a habit of auto completing the for sale sheet of a 3MPS as AWD. Plenty people were caught out by that.
I had to keep searching both 370z and 370 z when buying mine
Why does the 350z not have this problem?
Sorry for the nerdy explanation.
The majority of websites work using large databases. This will the allow users selling on something like auto trader to enter all there data into the online form with anything like 'chicken' 'egg' 'manual' '6.3' in other words doesn't really matter as long as the data is the same type as what the database field requires.
The reason why 350z is only shown once could be due to a couple of reasons either all records showing 350 z have been changed by autotrader to 350z or people actually posting on autotrader have entered it correctly in the first place.

They ain't brembo's. Or at least not the ones you get in the UK and higher spec JDM cars.
That's standard kit from a Jap import with brembo stickers tagged on them.

Waving and flashing in London normally starts a fight... :scare:
You're supposed to flash your headlights!
Haha

Don't know if it is me, but i can't see the garage you used?
+1 also I have always read only to use Nissan oil in the gearbox and diff ?
Who makes the Nissan oil ?
He's posted in the falcon performance section, so I'm guessing falcon performance is the garage he visited

I always flash and give a wave, but I don't always get the same back, its generally the modified ones which reciprocate

I spoke to the UK Supplier (who used to sell this kit) and they had said that APS no longer sell products or this kit.

Used everyday, nothing beats walking out of work and climbing into the Zed for a blast home
This.
Love walking past all the boring cars in the car park to get into the Z. I'm going to take the scenic route home tonight.
Aye man and then the customary "how come you've used over a quarter tank if you've only been to work and back Phil?" When I only work 5 miles away from home!
haha people look at me like im crazy when I tell em how much petrol I go through.
People say that I'm crazy at my work, they say why don't you get a sensible car. I just can't do it. I usually put it down to jealousy.

05 roadster 57k and owned it for just under a year

Mine is the same pal. I thought something was a little wrong. I've had mine for nearly a year now and it still has the same sound to when I first got it.
-
25, mines 1150 4yrs ncb, probably expensive because I live in Hull.
-
Use mine daily, absolutely love this car and now that the weather is warming up. I can listen to the noise of the v6 with the top down. LOVE IT!!!

Ouch, They difficult to replace? How can you find the fault on the banana arm?
-
I am getting a similar issue. I got the car up over the weekend and had a fiddle around it seems to be the drop links. I've just received a set whiteline front drop links from Clarke Motorsport, hopefully this will resolve the issue.
I will provide some feedback once they are fitted.

I am not 100% sure (its ESP) I image that there is a sensor in the steering wheel which is used to tell the BCM the position of the steering wheel if that's not there then the system would likely go into fault i.e. switching ESP off.
Somebody may correct this as I haven't had any experience with the Z, but as a Controls Engineer I would image something like above.

My power goals are not massive, I am looking at something around 400bhp not 100% on torque though, just as long as the car is drivable and is able to put the power down. The car will be mainly for show, but will use for fast road. I will be changing the clutch and if I need to uprate internals to cope with the added power then yes, as I would still like it to be relatively reliable.
My car is a 2005 reg.

Gents / Ladies,
I need some advice on either going the TT or SC route. I have been in contact with a company about the APS TT Kit, but have been informed that APS are no longer producing this kit anymore.
If anybody can give me some advice it would be appreciated.
Cheers
Mike

Check the fuse / relay!
http://my350z.com/forum/350z-roadster/315007-convertible-top-problem.html
This may help with the roof problem.
-
I would recommend looking at the following
As said by ZMANALEX, the roof is activated by depressing the brake pedal and pressing the switch.
- Check the fuse, if fuse has blowen, I would recommended getting it checked as these are really used to protect the device and cabling.
- Does the indication on the dashboard eluminate
- Do the windows open ( as I believe these provide a signal to the control unit to signal open ), then the roof begins to open.
- Could be an issue with linkages or / and motors.
Sorry can't be much more help.

Loving the car, how you finding the car at the minute?
-
Just another point regarding tyres
- avoid budgets (as mentioned)
- also ensure that tyres are correct fitting for the alloys (mine came with the 18inch touring alloys and had 235/35/18 on the rears, didn't do my homework before buying).
Other than that I can't really think of anything that hasn't already been mentioned.
Good Luck in your search.
Collect Z tomorrow, can't sleep
