There is a relay behind the fusebox/relay box in the footwell, you have to loossen it to get to relays on the back if that makes sense, mines did the same until it stopped completely, eventually found that relay.

NeilP, I would love they seats in my Zed, currently have black leather but they seats were fitted to the missus old EVO5 and gotta say they where the best seat for me, only seat never to ever cause backache, can frames be bought to fit these to the Zed or do they need to be custom made?

Also forgot to say, the + and - on the speakers being the wrong way round can make the speakers sound " tinny ". Easy way to check is swop the wires on 1 speaker first and see if it improves that speaker.

Hi, I know its no help but had/have identical issue with the wifes scooby, its the headunit, spoke to some audiophiles at work and they all asked straight away if the headunit was alpine, it seems common for alpines to sound tinny in our tinny jap oem systems lol. You can improve it supposedly using the settings but i've never managed, just gave up and got her a bigger exhaust.

Hi, I have a 02 Bug WRX midly modified and a recent purchase of a 04 Azure 350z GT, love them both.....but everytime I drive the Scoob I continually think how I can improve the boost buzz, with the Zed its REALLY nice having instant power, from about 1200rpm you hardly know which gear your in! With the turbo.....wrong gear can be annoying, everytime i feel the V6 fire up I just start grinning, people have even asked to get their photo taken with it!!! Just love the noise it makes, timeless looks, need to stop now before this ends up a novel.

Hi all, just joined the land of Zed and would like to say hello, just bought a 04 Azure Blue GT spec car needing some TLC, already made good progress putting her back to tip top mechanical condition with the help of this forum, anyway I was driving a Bug Scoob WRX and wanted to change to an E46 M3 but ended up with the 350......what can I say??? I am so happy with the car, even with its issues, never owned something as rewardind to drive and also very usable as an everyday car, thought I would miss the scoob burble and boost but no way as the V6 and them zorsts (standard) are just amazing, as you can guess I am impressed with my new toy just love it!!!! Again Hello All!!

Hi all my 1st post but just thought I would add my experience, I ended in Zedland via some diversions, was driving a mildly tuned bug wrx for a while (now the wifes) and then wanted to change to an e46 M3, was loaned one for a few days.....and here I am with a Zed and cant stop grinning!! I loved my S13 with the usual small mods, exhaust, saab cooler, diff turbo, etc, in fact the wifes words after driving the zed where " omg, its like a new 200sx with no lag " she loved the S13, taught her to drive in my Saph Cosworth, downhill ever since, lol. I thought I would miss the boost rush but as its a V6 this more than makes up for it, and when you turn that key and feel the raw grunt through the bottom off the seat........every petrolhead just loves it, the power is like them damn turbo diesels, instant torque but keeps going, almost feels like vtec rev range, also the playstation generation just love it, the "kids" around here stare more at the zed than my neighbours DB9 lol. Oh did I mention the noise? just love it, everyday drive to work feels like I'm in a track car, the driving experience is just so rewarding, I personally find it so much like a 911(my favourite car), was gonna spend replacing the Bose sound system but pointless as just love the noises the car makes!! Their looks will never date either and the market for them will pick up once the youngsters get old enough to purchase them lol. BTW my insurance is £300 fully comp with sheilas wheels, even got free handbag insurance lol. Never ever have I been so happy with my car purchase...even my phone is a Z lol.
