  2. So I'm probably going to set about repairing this 09 gen 2 cayman 16k miles with a front end I have sourced a complete front end from a similar 06 model including lights wings Bonnet slam panels and plastic parts My question is how much work do you think is involved and is it with doing, I have been advised no chassis rail damage but am assuming it will need a jig anyway, Here is the pics of the damage?? Overall it's going to cost between 10-12k What's your thoughts, as I think the impact looks quite light???? Any input from a panel guy would be appreciated Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  6. Also was on the back of a racer bike slopped of the back and my scrotum hot sucked in the mud gaurd
  7. Remember my brother threw a tennis ball at me so chased him into the kitchen and went straight through the big glass door nearly killed me and had 8 stiches down the side of my head and more in my arm, that was close Ps very painful in that area
  8. Above Reminds me of a serious reaction I had to pan-ten shampoo. Started with itchy scalp and spots, then got a type of fever followed by a full body swelling with jigsaw like markings all over, went to hospital and was told that my internal organs would also have the same patterns going on and it was severe urticaria will hopefully go away, I had always heard rumours about Pantene, contacted them and sent the shampoo back ov course I never heard a thing back from them. Ever since I had that I get a few small itchy bumps on the back of my head now and again.
  9. After several collapsed lungs had a chest drain fitted which involved having a metal tube shoved in between the intercostal muscles awake and pushed from a low point upwards between the chest wall and plural lining till it got to the top part, then they sew the metal pipe in and attach it to a pump for 1 week sucking the air out, then they find out it's in the wrong place and start twisting it around which was like sticking a hot poker into your chest, I will never forget the pain, got better for 1 year but then had full open lung surgery to remove the lining of the lung which meant my lung was then glued/stuck to the chest wall, off work for a month and had a numb chest for ten years, held up ever since even after breaking three ribs a few months ago.
  10. As above, it's always an event driving a 350. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I have a rear arch dent on my zed there, it's a difficult place to repair. I have not had mine done yet so will wait to see how it's done. There is three angles on the arch which I was told makes it tougher to repair, but I'm sure dent pullers will do it.
  12. Good luck and enjoy the car as well as the forum !!!
  13. 😄hi mate, well done and good luck, it's a great forum...
  14. Just got a great quote £1100 fully comp inc work van, that's a bargIn
  15. Getting quite a few motor trade insurance calls today so may just stay with them and just have to start selling a few cars again,,
  16. I have a possible problem, two years ago I changed from a commercial policy to a motor trader policy as I was buying and selling cheap cars as a hobby, it worked really well as you are insured on any car including my work van. Now I have stopped buying cars I want to go back to a normal policy. I can't find many insurance companies that will take the 5 years no claims as it was a motor trade policy. It's due next week. I have three vehicles the zed, mx5 ands vauxhall combo van. I did get a quote from be wiser for 2200, and that was for driving the zed and mx5 less than 5000 miles a year. Has anyone got information on which insurance companies will take the 5 years NCB, also obviously I can only get the NCB one vehicle. I'm thinking of just staying as a motor trader as it's £1400, but as I'm not selling or buying much it may not be right or they may not renew if I tell them. Any advice would be appreciated.
  17. I agree there is probably no legal stance and the buyer should have used a mechanic etc to check over the car, however it would still be worth trying to convince or persuade the seller that he has a legal or moral responsibility to help. Ekona do you know the seller by any chance?
  18. If the op does not have the lingual skills to call up the seller then perhaps someone in a position of legal authority could do so and convey that they will most certainly be taking the situation to the next level, which in no uncertain terms may end in at least court Summons or worse if the said seller already has a criminal conviction of similar circumstances. Sometimes it's who you know. I bought a car once the seller had said the EML came on but it was fixed, on the way home an hour into the drive the EML came on, I immediately called the seller and told him the car was coming straight back for a refund with no question. I suggest you at least try the no nonsense return method first. Good luck I hope there is a good outcome for you . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Perhaps the op could try to negotiate a part payment towards the new engine from the seller, after reading through the thread I think I would have to agree with Ekona especially if the dash light was on. There is quite a lot of Zeds breaking out there,
  20. Could end up like this Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
