Doesn't matter, everyone is entitled to be offended by anything, what we are questioning is a word deemed to be racist but not it would seem by everyone. Personally i think it matters a huge amount, if the very people that the word was intended to offend, arent offended, anyone else is getting bent out of shape for nothing! No one is debating its not a racist slur, it is, but you even say yourself, its in the context ! And your right, everyone is entitled to be offended by anything, but as Stevo D quotes Stephen Fry, its nothing more than a whine these days, especially when you are not the subject of the offending comment!!

So, is Chubster black or white, if he is white, why is he offended when black people are not, i.e the initial complaint was from a white person?

Sadly and rather ironically I personally feel Chubster is the biggest racist on this thread! Actively enticing racial hatred for what, a recital of a rhyme by which all account the word was mumbled, probably knowing full well someone like Chubster would play out the magic race card! When i got the car it came with these springs and no adjustable camber arms, so in essence its not a necessity, however running them will be preferential!

My mother used to run a play school, for years and years she looked after many children without issue! And so you come full circle to the whole big media scandal that was Ron Atkinson using the very same word, there was even a programme made with big Ron where he looked back on the history of the word and asked varying black people (inc celebs, pop stars) why it was ok that they alone can use the word! Doubt it very much. I don't think most non car enthusiasts would have any idea what they are. Don't kid yourself, how many times do we hear the phrase "The GTR is better than *insert expensive prestige marque here* because it's so much faster everywhere!"? People are buying them because they have bragging rights, just as much as they are because they're a good car in their own right.They want one specifically because it's not a Porsche or a Ferrari or an Audi, which is as much to do with brand snobbery as it is buying an R8 over the fat Nissan. I would believe most owners buy the gtr because their budget wont stretch to "enter prestige marque here", sure I have seen some owners change from prestige marques to the gtr as it is faster but most buy because for that performance and budget its the best out there in terms of outright speed. I think your quite unique Ekona, I have no doubt you enjoy the Porsche for its driving experience, but I think your 80 20 split is way off the mark, in my opinion and experience of knowing owners of course. 79.5% probably want you to believe they have bought a Porsche as they are enthusiasts of its abilities, 19.5% are fat, balding middle aged men going through a mid life crisis hoping to attract a new younger replacement for their ageing wife by posing down the wine bar and have zero interest in its performance abilities. Its not the first time he has been controversial and sure it wont be the last, however ignorant and stupid some people might think he is, he certainly isnt stupid enough to repeatedly walk the line and risk his job!
