Droped the car in with craig at DynoTorque yesterday hes fitting me a extreme stage 1 clutch and flywheel kit and some braided hoses on the brakes
Also fitting some fancy heat shielding around the transmission tunnel to keep the heat down in the cabin in summer
I was reluctant to splash the cash so close to Christmas but need the car on the road to demo the new supercharger set up
Which will be available to you guys once I'm happy it is as good as its supposed to be ...keep your eyes peeled over winter for updates

I think it literally comes down to someone with enough knowledge and want to do it or money to pay someone to do it for them
Cant see tuners wanting to invest time and money into it if its somthing that wouldn't sell
Plus If you want 500hp you can just go supercharger etc

Not much happend on the car still although i have some plans for new year
The nismo is on the back burner for a little while but
My supercharger kit may be up for grabs for the right price as I'm going to be testing a new kit that might be available to you guys once I'm happy with it

Quite a lot of fab work, from chatting with Alex @ UpRev. I'll ask them for further details if you want me to.
Yeah I would be interested to see how big of a job it is

So since the euro trip the car hasn't moved
And I'm seriously considering breaking it as i fancy a nismo
Dose anyone know if my kwv3 would be compatible with a nismo as I love the way the car handles with these on and would like to transfer all my mods over to the nismo

Your right but im paying 500+ for tax and 500+ for insurance in january so if it goes ill have saved then. And if i keep it until the weather gets nice I know I wont want to part with it and keep it for another summer then be in the same predicament next autumn
What do we buy any car say it's worth

Seats are finally mounted. It only took me 6 months to buy the brackets
Suprisingly impressed with the quality of the brackets I ordered from the states. Including postage and import tax they only cost me about £155 ish for the pair, much more reasonable than £200 per side!
The seats sit about an inch lower than the stock seats without rails which is perfect imo. Although having these seats makes me want to change the steering wheel so much more
Just need to wire in the resistors for the airbag connector tomorrow and its good to go!
This is the only photo I have of them in the car at the minute. Hopefully I should be able to get some better shots over the weekend once they're finalised and I have some more time.
I've also got some programmable sidelights coming so I can set them to strobe a bright white which should look pretty awesome (imo). Always loved the look of that on old Jap cars so hopefully it looks as good as I'm thinking it will.
Looking sweet
A link to those rails would be good

Already planning to chop the ‘5 in for a nice E90 330/325, so still a vaguely decent car!
Cheers chaps, much appreciated It’s going to be an interesting time as I’m not with the mother any more, but I’m still planning on being the best dad I can be even if it wasn’t planned in the slightest.
Wasnt planned ?

Congratulations mate

The CSC is uprated mate, but remember and use uprated fluid.
I have never heard or experienced any of the issues that Dave6188 has had, which lends me to believe that it may have been a fitment issue in this instance.
Thank you

I do like the wife`s 1.7 diesel Mokka. Plenty of punch and very cheap to run but if we ever change it I don`t think we would consider another diesel. Now that they`ve decided they`re bad I expect they will start penalizing us for having them. I heard on the radio the other day that one city (might have been Bristol but I can`t remember) is thinking of banning them from the city centre.
Birmingham is definitely doing somthing next year
I think it's some sort of city tax going on the tax band of the car
So I would imagine driving the z into Birmingham would be an issue aswell

Civics are popular. 7 years and only issue i had was with the EP2 brake caliper ceasing on 170,000 miler. The FN shape was mainly the harsh ride. I didnt like the styling on the FK. I actually wanted the 2.2 diesel. Never got round to getting a Type R.
Yeah I have had a lot of hondas and had zero hassle with them
I think we will get her the 1.6 derv and see how it pans out

Meh, if you're going to buy something as tedious as a Civic, why not buy it with the wrong engine too.
(I have nothing useful to add to this thread)

So we are looking for a new daily for my other half
She realy likes the civic 9th gen 2012 onwards and that's all her budget stretches to
We took a test drive in the 1.8 petrol and lovely as it was it was fairly flat
We then drove the 1.6 diesel which had a little punch to it she preferred the derv
The 1.6 diesel is £0 road tax but I'm not sure if i want to risk going derv in this day and age.
She dosnt do big miles around 30/40 a day in fact at the moment so the miles dont realy warrant derv but she wanted somthing that will pull the skin off a rice pudding and the petrol just dosnt
Any thoughts on the diesel in 2019 ?

MPS4s
in Tyres
Posted
I'd say the 4s as that size he went for is what you advised me to go for ....
OP you wont be disappointed you just need to blast a bit of the tread block off I found them a little unsettling at first and when I spoke to centre gravity they confirmed it was these tyres when new ! Get a few miles on them tho and they come into there own and hang on for grim death
