  5. Just wondered if anyone has used any companies local to me or if there is any discount from anyone for forum members?. Got a couple of small dents and a couple of scratches I cant polish out. Thanks
  6. Do you have any pictures of your bumper mate. Where are you based?
  7. Just HAD to do something about those !! ..
  8. Do you have any pictures of your bumper mate.
  9. Are the Roadster and Coupe bumpers the same?
  10. Ive just changed my rear "nissan" one for a newer looking "Z" one, so the old one is spare - I think its the same as the front ?
  11. Ill check out both of those and see if I can make either.
  12. sweet - wondering what sort of lap times zed owners on here have achieved at the ring?
  13. Heres a few pics just taken .. the chip next to 1p a scratch Looking for a straight swap with a UK bumper in at least comparable condition. Ive never changed one but Im sure its easy enough. I have a decent garage/workshop with compressor etc and all the tools we should need, and a professional instant marquee for shelter so if someone wanted to come to me to do the swap that would be my ideal scenario, but Im open to suggestions One more thing the bumper is currently fitted with colour coded splash guards, but one is broken and needs a repair when its removed - this will mean the bumper has 3 holes underneath on each side where the splash guards fit. Can discuss leaving them or taking them off with the swapper.
  14. Im in Birmingham B5 WIll post some pics of my bumper shortly. cheers
  15. just had a mop and polish today so defo using two buckets at least for this summer ! http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w184/frenshy/f1_zps81dab508.jpg
  16. Hi folks Looking to swap my JDM bumper for UK. Gun Metal Grey. It is in good condition, it has just been mopped and polished with the rest of the car. One small paint chip about 6mm. http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w184/frenshy/r1_zps44d8063c.jpg Will take more pics on request.
  17. I always use hot for the wash and cold for the rinse cause that keeps the spots away !!
  18. The actual fronts of the perspex/plexi are nice and shiny now ie not smoky or yellowed, but I still have TONS of crazing on them which looks like its on the INSIDE?
  19. Might make this my first ever Zed event

    Seat upgrade

Hi guys Looking to change out my cloth seats for leather. Whats the craic with the electrics? my cloth seats are manual but there is a power plug going into the bottom of the seat which I guess powers the airbag and a seat belt warning sensor on the clip? Will a set of electric leather seats just bolt in and use the same plug to power the switches? cheers
  21. MAF gets my vote - the way you describe it is exactly the same symptoms as I had with a 4.0 RR recently - I used some CRC Air Cleanser Cleaner I got from Ebay. I took out the sensor and spent the afternoon spraying and letting it dry a few times and it showed an immediate improvement - but a couple of months later I changed the sensor anyway and instantly noticed a BIG difference then and it ran better than it had for years.
  22. Just wondered if anyone else has these ENKEI RS+M wheels on their Zed..? http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w184/frenshy/350z/enzeirsm_zpsa76609fc.jpg They have big fat 50 profile tyres on them, and the open spoke style shows off the (unfortunately) standard calipers! Not happy with the look at all.
  23. Yeah thats exactly what I done - spent about 15 mins on each wet n dry then 15 mins with T-cut but lots of people saying the MAGS stuff or metal polish is better - I didnt remove the lights but I masked off around the edge of the lights - although when the masking tape got wet it was a b*tch to get off so next time I would remove headlights or use rags in the gaps around the edge instead of masking tape.
