  1. cheers mate! Im really looking forward to getting them on! especially after the drop, its just asking for them now! aha
  2. Cheers, I love it even more now! so happy with it! So a quick before and after of the eibach springs.. Before: After: Wheels are looking pretty lost within the arches even more so now, so thats defiantly spuring me on to get my new wheels on! Especially with the new rubber arriving this week
  3. So today was a good day! Went and paid my mate Grant a visit where we fitted my new eibach springs, and put in my GTR midpipe so happy with the result! Obviously before I just had the R35 GTR backbox fitted onto my standard system, although I loved it, it made a sweet sounding note under acceleration but lacked the 'Bark'. So I thought I would remove the midpipe silencer, and then I just thought why not remove the entire midpipe and replace with the 3" GTR silencer-less pipe I had leftover laying around. Making it GTR upto the Y pipe. So after some fiddling we removed it and Grant set about re-introducing the Backbox with its former partner with some welding. A quick shot of the Z up in the air with my mate Jaks arches ready to be rolled and flared. With not too much hassle it was all back together asking for a quick video. Obviously as you know video never seems to do it justice but here you go anyways Before: (GTR Backbox only) After: (GTR backbox and Midpipe) Very happy with this indeed, just what I was after and still no drone when cruising along the motorway. 8-) After flying through the day using the wings of success, we moved onto fitting the springs. I shall get a daylight 'After' picture tomorrow of the springs..

Perfect for having a go at your roof etc £65 +postage or collected from Chelmsford cheers
  6. Nothing wrong with tint films I guess, I'm just still in search for a good quality film lol
  7. I too am looking to tint my headlights. Have done for ages, and a while back I did buy some tinting film, but it had a hint of purple The honeycomb stuff you mean is called 'flyeyes' or 'spi vision'. Used it before on a previous car, very easy to apply, very cheap but does reduce light output quite a bit.
  8. have these been fitted before?
  9. I always use BP super unleaded, wouldn't relax in the knowledge that Iv put the cheaper stuff in after seeing some discussions on here.
  10. If I'm thinking of the same one as rich it isn't a nismo
  11. Same here for me! With elephant! Always seem to come out on top! I'm 22 with 2 years ncb. Like you mods listed and my was just over £800. Unfortunatly because of my age the specialists are all 3k+
  12. The lower the offset the further away the spokes sit from the hub, but ultimately it depends on the design of the rim. i did know. blonde moment. sorry ignore me aha
  13. wouldnt it foul on the caliper at the front at that offset?
  14. Nice list mate, if you already have a list before you have the car I'll be very surprised if that doesn't grow aha You'll love the car too buddy, like me this was my first RWD car, you'll be absolutely fine just don't treat it as a fwd
  15. looks really nice mate! what film did you use to tint the lights?
  16. looks really smart, and different too! good on you mate sucks about your little immobilizer escapade, i would be crapping myself stressing out if that was me lol hope you find the cause!
  17. I recently installed that exact unit. So far so good! Although Havnt figured how to access the apps yet :s Someone recommended me this kit, http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-350z-Double-DinFascia-Adaptor-Pioneer-Stalk-Wheel-Car-Stereo-Kit-/350959881876?pt=UK_In_Car_Technology&hash=item51b6d6ce94 And it was spot on
  18. Thanks a lot guys Yeah wanted to keep the CF wrap down to a minimum, think it finishes off the bezel and gauge pods really well against the grey and parello, ironically that was probably a feature i was most excited about think its so easy to make headunits stick out in comparison with the rest of the car! next on the list is to get my side skirts on (need tweeking) tyres bought, and springs fitted
  19. I tried, but couldn't resist the offer Tarmac had in recently on the Carbon Fiber wing mirror covers Fitted and a night time frosty shot In addition to this some interior mods finally took place! -Pioneer AVH-X15000DVD -Evo R Burnt Titanium Gear knob -wrapped centre console (matt grey to match exterior wrap) -gaitor bezel and near triple guages carbon wrapped. -Alacantra Gear Gaitor with grey stitching So with the help of a few friends, Jak and Steve, it all begin with ripping it all out And everything separated asking to be wrapped Started off with the gear gaiter bezel, to my surprise this is actually metal and not plastic! Pressed in with the wrap anyways The triple gauge pods were plastic welded in, so Jak took his soldering iron to them to get them separated Then made the mistake of painting it all first. Thinking behind this was it would help with the vinyls adhesion on the rubbery dimpled surface. This tactic did not work atall and has in fact resulted in some bits I'm not quite happy with. Getting there Next was just to get it all in. Before After And a nighttime shot Few little bits I'll revisit just to tidy up the odd bit of wrap, but overall very eased indeed Thanks again to Steve and Jak for their time and help. Defiantly appreciate Jak swinging by after work to finish it all up
  20. just an update, both things fixed, sorted and complete. steering wheel controls were not working because I had it in the wrong aux port (there was 2 at the back) lol and managed to get the floor out, need to pull something to one side on the cradle to expose a screw, undo that and then it lifts out not have my iphone cable dangling in that now cheers for the replies guys
  21. Yeah I did Kyle, defiantly have the right leads, probably/hopefully me just being stupid somewhere. Was just wondering if there was something additional I needed to do other than plug and play. As for the storage compartment, I still have no idea how this pulls out?
