  1. Looks really smart! ^^ Chelmsford graffiti wall right?
  2. I wish i never saw this! any otther time i would be snapping that invidia up! GLWTS mate
  3. Yeah, and a very members on here have advised me aswell. I am going to get some aftermarket wheels yes, so the bigger sizes accommodate the larger rims, and keeping close to oem with the staggered sizes etc
  4. Bought a set of wheels with these on, sold the wheels kept the tyres for new wheels. Was gonna run 245's alround, then it was bought to my attention that's not a good idea. So I'm keeping 2 meaning these 2 are up for sale. -Michelin Pilot Sports 245/40/18 -Both with about 7mm of tread on, even wear and as far as I can tell no repairs. Logo's on sidewalls seem to of rubbed, take it that's why the precious owner didnt run them long. And see a small, crack? Only minor and not very deep atall. Prefer collection by could probably post. Based in Chelmsford Essex £150 for the pair?
  5. No sorry. Plan is 265/40/18 rear, 245/40/18 front. To be fair I was going to run 245's alround untill an earlier thread of mine, then I was swayed otherwise for them reasons lol
  6. Love it mate! good work! Looks like you got the same retractable plate bracket as me, great little mod imo
  7. sorry mate, they will be paired up with my 40's that are up front. Thanks anyway though
  8. Looking at getting some 265's soon so figured I may just quickly see if anyone had any part worns going on here first.. Cheers
  9. car looks absolutely awesome mate, that exhaust just looks pure porn!
  10. Cheers mate. Not sure of the brand but it was some pre cut stuff I bought quite a while back off eBay. Think I paid about £30 for all 3 rear windows. Tbh I don't think it was the best quality of stuff, but I'm no tint expert. But it's so much harder and less forgiving than wrap I found.
  11. Belated updated, roof wrap and attempted window tint. Roof went very well, happy bunny about that used Hexis Gloss black. Also wanted to get the window tinted to carry the black over, ideally I wanted 20% but had some 5% laying around so thought i would give it a bash. Wasnt as success filled as the wrap but will do for now untill I get it redone anyway some pictures: Also added a little Nismo sticker I made up...
  12. Cheers for the links Kyle! Getting them in a pair was defiantly something I didn't put a thought too! Took a look at them rears, was around 400 on eBay, looked on driftworks and you can get them new in the right colour for just shy of 500. I think you would probably end up paying nearly that overall by time you get them sprayed? I think it's all timing, just when the right ones come up, if they were all right colour like you say £700 for a new set is very good indeed! I think unless ridisouly cheap they need to be in the right colour to make it worthwhile? I'll be defiantly keeping an eye out for some pairs from now on though Cheers again Hi CS, I did have a look at your site but only saw 19's? Can you tell me how much I'm looking at for: Rota Grid Drift In Bronze 10j et 15 9.5j et 20 Cheers
  13. well that was my initial thinking, and i am still looking second hand, but 9 times out of 10 they are not either right colour, or even more so wrong offsets so further money will have to be spent on spacers. But i certainly havnt ruled it out if the right ones come along
  14. Called round a few places earlier, no one was interested in part exing Worth a shot though.
  15. No not really what I am hoping for! lol I found a pair of 265's from a shop, at a good price, 1 has no repairs and the other has '1 patch repair' this would be ideal but am dubious of part worns... Thats a good shout about visiting a tyre dealer though, ill see if i can call round some places today.
  16. bugger, okay cheers again guys. looks like ill have to get myself some 265's. Money is soo tight atm though, ill have to sell 2 of my MPSS's if anyone is interested? How much do you think im looking at getting for these? they have like 7mm tread on?
  17. Would that not then mean there is more stretch on the front? With 245 F as 265 R? Also I don't see how tyre width will affect the rolling radius? Would this TC issue not be more likely with say different profile tyres? I heard that a sqaure setup will mean more oversteer. But I don't track the zed and I'm no hooligan on the roads anyway.. This is a tough one Cheers
  18. Ok cheers guys. So thats a no to 9.5j all round, but unfortunately i have to use my 4 245's. So I shall go with: 10j rear et15. This will extend by 37mm (1mm less that your 10.5j et20 suggestion) 9.5j front et20 - this will extend by 29mm Least then the wheel widths are staggered so room to change tyre width at the back later, and till then the rear will have more stretch than the front think im finally sussed and happy. Cheers for your help guys
  19. Great pics, some mint looking cars! Missed a lot of these unfortunalty at the show as by time I got round most were gone
  20. I did not know that. Reassuring to know though. I think it wi be ok Rim sizes/offsets are good, but don't go 245 all round, go 255/40 front and 275/40 which is the closest to OEM sizes I think you can get. alternatively 245/40 and 265/40 will also work and may be a bit cheaper. Wait? You've already bought the tyres, did you buy 4 245/40's? Ok that's good cheers, think ill go for that setup. And yes I already have the tyres, in a roundabout way that's what I now have. Tread on the standard ones are getting a bit low now so feel time is ticking a bit. I'll go with that and then maybe down the line a bit up the sizes on the rears? Or would you recommend 9.5j alround, lower rear offset to compensate?
  21. Yeah I don't think I want this VDC issue haha An as good as the above suggestion is I want Rotas lol In bronze too So we think 9.5j et20 front (245 tyres) and 10j et15 rear (245 tyres)? The lower offset will compensate for the 1/2 inch less width?
  22. StevoD your car sits amazing btw! whats this VDC stick issue?
  23. Thats got me thinking so Ive been doing some maths. Well my mpss cost me £550 for the set of 4. (each have 7mm+ tread) plus 18" rotas are £900 total £1450 whereas new tyres (Goodyear assy 2) are £748 19'' rotas are £901 total £1649 plus the loss of selling the current tyres 18's are a stretch as it is :'( I cant do it godammit haha
  24. I really cant afford to do that
