Was driven hard all weekend and never missed a beat. Got a couple of scars already but nothing major. Massive thanks to Adele, Tarmac, Extreme Torque Show, Corbeau Seats, Clark Customs, 350z-uk, Z-labs, Cosmis Wheels, Opie Oils, Tops signs. etc. etc. and thanks to all you guys for the support through the build, glad it has all been worth it Thanks for reading and hope you enjoy the vids Cheers Bizz For some reason I can't post the vids now, will have to speak with the mods about it tomorrow as I wrecked now. 2. Hi Guys, As some of you may know I was at the Extreme Torque Show this weekend at Old Trafford in Machester, competing with 14 other lads on a small, yet technical track. The weather on Saturday was rubbish as it was most places but it dried up in the afternoon and on Sunday to let us have more fun. Anyway this is only the 4th time I'd driven the car so went out just to get more seat time but it turned into a bit more than that So here are some of the pics and vids in the best order I could get them. Unfortunately we didn't record all of the battles but you'll get the idea Suited up and ready Saturday practice Ready to Rock My girlfriend's newphew trying the Z out I had the car right at the front as the crowd were loving it. Got lots of people having their pics taken with it and a few autographs were signed Cosmis and big Brembos looking sweet Tarmac Wing from another angle Few people taking pics Found the missus hiding in here whilst I was practicing and she actually got to drive it at the end of the event, only at idle but pretty cool This drew quite a bit of attention Talking to the fans Down to business myself and scotty (the organiser) out for a play Getting the lock on Chasing!!
  3. Hey guys, How have you all been, sorry I have been hiding again. This is just a quick update with the big one coming later.... Was competing in the Extreme Torque Championship this weekend, putting the LSZ through her paces and she smiled back showing what she's made of. We came out on top with the WIN :D was and still am ecstatic with the result I am currently uploading the videos of the battles to youtube ready for when I get in from work this evening so I can post them up here with the vids. They will end up in the media section but depending on what the mods say might try and get something a little more permenant going on in the motorsport bit so keep your eyes peeled Finally, this thread definitely is not over. Now I am getting to grips with the car the real tweeking begins to get the most grip and lock out of it. Catch you tonight
  4. Hi Guys, This wing is lovely apart from the slight issues that Chris has highlighted above but it is nothing that cant be solved very easily. It looks awesome and is pretty much the width of the car I have mine set pretty agressively but it does have adjustment to change the angle if you want. If you have any install questions feel free to message me
  5. Well, here she is Don't worry about the front wheels they're just for the trailer. It won't fit on with the Cosmis on all round. Massive thank you must go out to Cal for his design, looks brilliant in the metal and TopSigns Hexham for turning it into reality. More finishing touches still to go on but she definitely looks the part now I hope you guys like it Keep an eye out for it tomorrow it might be worth your while......... watch this space

  14. Right update time.... As some of you may or may not know I have been having some serious issues with the paint shop that has been working on my car. This is why there has been no updates from me apart from pleas for help and left me ashamed to show it to you guys. I am now in the process of starting to recover money back from this place. Anyways after some help from friends and sponsors and with some more money disappearing out the door we are getting some where... So the hard work began last week to recover the paint that had made it on to the car. Massive thanks to Glyn, who used to do this kind of stuff for a living, for putting a full evening in on flatting the paintwork back to get rid of the runs, fish eyes and orange peel.. It's still a fair way from perfect but is a credit to Glyn to get it as good as he has. A lot of elbow grease went into the car that night. This was the shiney result (sorry I don't have any before pics as I couldn't believe what I was seeing) It is difficult to see in this picture but a simple rookie mistake of not doing a black base coat on the skirts and rear bumper to match the rest of the car has left those parts looking noticeably lighter than the rest Autospray in Darlington resprayed my calipers (front and back) which was in a long list of parts not painted in time, in a couple of days even though they are booked up until the end of August. I think they suit the purple just need to get the new Brembo decals for them. Any suggestions?? On Saturday Glyn came back to spray up my door handles and plastics which go over the doors, considering it was done with only Halfords rattle cans it came out well and at least meant the car looked complete from the outside I got the car this far yesterday So.... the car looks a bit better so lets go out and have some fun in it Drift Selfie There was a practice day on at Teesside today so went there with the missus for the morning to burn some rubber Adele happy with herself she's in the driving seat (on the trailer ) Off to Topsigns in Hexham to have the vinyl set put on ready for the Norfolk Weekender coming up next weekend Sorry there aren't any in drift pics as yet but as they start to filter through I will whack them on here and put a couple of the vids up so you can here the noise from inside the car but you won't be able to feel the heat. I am surprised Adele's I-phone didn't melt haha Please keep the comments coming guys and thanks to my friends, sponsors and all you guys for your support
  15. Hey all sorry for the very long time with no update but read the below and you will see why..... I'm looking for a paint sprayer to finish off my car and buff the whole thing ready for the vinyl work next week!! Having to give up with my guy after too many missed deadlines and not the best quality of work The car is sort of painted, pics will follow, but the skirts and rear bumper are slightly different colour to the car, the plastics over the door and in between the door glass and rear quarter need painting, the calipers need painting and a couple of other bits. Can anyone help? Thanks Bizz
