  1. Yes it will lock your radio everytime you disconnect it (or your battery) so if you take it out make a note of the numbers on it.
  2. That's the only way I'm afraid. You should have a credit card sized red/white paper with the numbers on it. If you haven't got that than you have to take the radio out and get the numbers (pin and serial numbers) so your local dealer (or me if you are close enough to my garage ) can give you the number.
  3. With a good bleeder (and a technician who can use it ) it would only take 20 min. Let us know if this doesn't sort your problem.
  4. You still got a chance to be some air trapped in. It happened to me before the only way to get the air out was using the vacuum bleeder, if you are close to my garage I can do it for you. If not try to find a decent garage locally have this equipment. (Of course it's can be something else, but really sounds like air in the heater matrix.) Also have you got this noise every time ? Did you run the A/C when it's do the noise ?
  5. How did you try to bleed the system? Did you used a vacuum bleeder? Sometimes the air can be trapped in the heater matrix causing that type of noise.
  6. All sport Nissan (350Z,370Z and the GTR) are suffer from seat-squeak usually nothing loose it just need some lubrication to the frame. Easiest way to do when you take the seat out turn it over and spray a good quality sticky grease to the metal joints in the frame.
  7. Not surprised at all, in my last dealership the receptionists were told (by management) not to sell P1 services at all as it doesn't make enough profit so we was doing P2-P3-P2... all the time. Just an other good example of dealers customer service.
  8. Check the signal ring itself for crack or damage (missing teeth) carefully (could be just a hairline crack). Also check wires visually for any damage as it's sounds like an intermittent signal lost.
  9. No problem. You can still use it as a reference so you know what to expect from a decent garage.
  10. The roof is very complicated and it's difficult to diagnose over the internet. If you are close to us (in Rochester Kent) feel free to pop down to my workshop for a free check.
  11. Is that the cost of the labour..? Thanks. Cost of the belts mate, they were off anyway due to getting power steering pump changed so no labour charge Thanks ..What do you think labour would be to fit them when I get them from Alex..? Nissan's official time for replacing belts(one or both) is 0.5 hour on both type of engines. So example with our £55+VAT/hour labour you are looking at £33 inc.VAT. If you have anything else done like P3 service or steering pump, alternator or pulley replaced you will get it cheaper or can be even free
  12. Personally I would take the tensioners off and check them for free movement as I seen it before where the adjuster bolts corroded and sized up so didn't move all the way up and down.
  13. This usually happen if part of the locking mechanism is stuck or hard to move, check all cables and lock for free movement.
  14. Agree on that, unfortunately MPSS not available in that size (at least from my supplier) otherwise I would recommend them too as they are brilliant on the GTRs.
  15. 275/40/18 isn't ,but 275/35/18 is available in Michelin Pilot Sport 3 for £545 (pair) fitted inc. VAT from us if you are near to Rochester in Kent.
  16. Sorry, SM mean Service Manual by Nissan otherwise I would separate the gearbox and the engine to make your life easier
  17. Key coding is only £20 from us if you are close enough to Rochester in Kent.
  18. As Alex said there is no factory lifting points and you need special brackets to do by the SM, but old school trick will work with a few sling.
  19. £105 is a bit expensive I would say £80 is realistic, but you can even buy one for £60-65.
  20. When it's happening check your NATS light on the top of your dash near to the windscreen. If your immobiliser system works fine it will come on with ignition than goes out in few sec. If it's stays on with ignition than your NATS stopping you from starting it. If that's the case you need a Consult to read out fault codes.
  21. The fan will run all the time while your A/C is on, that's normal.
  22. The level sensor is attached to the N/S/R suspension arm and can be easily seen underneath. Basic adjustment possible at the lamps itself, but if there is any fault with the system or you replaced any parts on it, than it will need to initialize the sensor and you need Consult 3 for that (that's Nissan's OEM computer and only dealers and specialist like us got it). I hope this helps
