  1. Yep, i'm blaming spacers, stretch tyres and the impatient cabbie.... I will get a pen from halfords for the short term, but my boyfriend used a good place in Lincoln to get his BMW wheels refurbed for a good price, so i think the wheel will get a full refurb. This afternoon i will mainly be lining all the kerbs on my street with rubber edging. This WILL NOT happen again!! Didn't help that when i text the other half straight after i did it the first response i got was 'well it was inevitable it would happen' That is not how to make me feel better. He should have just told me to chill out with a glass of wine!
  2. Trying to park today and an impatient taxi driver didn't like being held up and beeped at me, tried to rush my parking and did this: I am so mad with myself, and I know the pic ain't the best, but what's the verdict? Any quick way to fix this or is it a powder coating job? Please help make a sad girl happy again and tell me it's salvageable!!
  3. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1999-SUBARU-IMPREZA-SPORT-AWD-SILVER-LOOKS-LIKE-A-RALLY-CAR-/390575266297 I'm from Lincoln and haven't seen this car, but i think more Dads should be able to do this!! Item description is worth a read!!

    Spacers fitted!

Last little mod will be fitting a diffuser I bought, but also need roof re-painting as its quite chipped so gonna get diffuser done the same colour at same time before fitting. That will be it. Maybe. I think. But then a s/s exhaust may be calling.... Haha

    Accident

Bad times! That's the kinda of thing I'd do, but I do like the way you said that no drinking for a week was mentioned before no driving for a week!! Speedy recovery dude
  13. Haha don't put these thoughts in my head! Got a black zed too so they'd look ace....
  14. Oh my... Wish I'd waited for these instead of buying black alloys.... Pink is SOOOO my colour, and it would stop the other half pinching my car so much....

    A MILLION

I've thought up at least a millions reasons why I have to have those shoes/handbags/cars/accessories/clothes etc!
  16. Just read this and thought 'I saw that one too' and then realised I'm in Aberdeen, not Glasgow and the one I saw was black with a reg starting M77, it's wasn't on the M77!! Ditzy moment!
  17. Nope... Hill starts are the work of the devil, especially so in the zed!! I like the idea of heated windscreen, my car seems a bit asthmatic in winter!!
  18. Ooohhhh panniers.... More room for a weekends worth of clothes choices!!
  19. Not sure if this has been bought up before, but what optional extra do you wish the zed could have? One option that I wish I had was hill start assist, fed up driving miles out of my way to avoid a hill start which I can't do for love nor money! Another is a refrigerated glove box (or whatever they call them cubbyholes behind the seat) so that when I drive to friends places I have chilled wine ready! I'm not a drink driver, car gets left all over town when I'm on a wine mission it's other half's job to collect it the next day!! Any other idea's?? And I mean anything from the feasible to the totally wacky, but would make life better
  20. Glad I could be of assistance
  21. Spotted a silver zed LT04 on Rosemount place at 4.45pm followed by a black one parked up on Crown St at 9pm time, first spots up here, unfortunately I was in a taxi both times!
  22. Yep should do fingers crossed!
  23. I was under the impression that the alarm going off when you use the key as opposed to the key buttons was a standard on most cars, it was the same on my Rav4. What happens is if you use the buttons on the keys, the car 'learns' that this is what you favour, but if you use the actual key the alarm will go off. The car will only stop doing this is you continue to use the key for locking and unlocking the car, and you will find that after a few times if you go back to using the buttons, you will activate the alarm again until the car learns that you are using this method of locking/unlocking. It does make sense in my head, hope i wrote it out clearly enough haha! I had the exact key issue on the Rav4, and assume that it may be a generic Jap car thing... Please correct me if I'm wrong (bearing in mind I am a girl....)
  24. oh poo, never thought of that, glad you bought this up or i'd never think to declare it!
