Keyser, did you get yours custom made in that colour? I have a black zed, and want to go for an orange/black colour scheme, but trying to find back and orange seats are a nightmare!! I will have to shop about and see what i find comfortable... I've never had a problem with bad seats in any of my cars until i started driving the other halfs BMW 1 series, thats sciatica waiting to happen everytime i go out in it!!

Has anybody got the Recaro 'Speed' seats in their Zed, and if so how do you rate them for comfort? Interested in getting a pair of them, but reluctant to splash out over a grand on them if they ain't all that!! If there are any other cheaper sports seats on the market that are just as good, let me know too, as i'm pretty cluless on this subject! Cheers Niki

It is possible to fit 4 x 19" Finichi Firenze alloys (complete with tyres) in a 350z! And thats without removing the spare! But i didn't put them in myself, i just watched them being loaded up!!

i'm a 27yr old female, 56 plate 350z, 8yrs no claims and i pay just over £500 a year, but have added my mum and my boyfriend to the policy to bring down costs, which helped loads!! I use diamond at the moment (part of the admiral group) but next time i'll renew through compare the market so i can get a meerkat toy....

So tonights teabreak topic at work was all about the old schooldays, more specifically using sawdust to soak up piles of puke and also loo roll that would have been better suited to a life as tracing paper.... i don't remember any of this from my school days, maybe i'm a bit young, or maybe it is just because i'm English and the the guys i work with are all Scottish! Anyway, what really random things do you remember about your schooldays that would not happen nowadays? No, i definitely think BMW drivers have cornered the market on this one... They are by far the worst at indicating. But then again it may just be a german car thing. Totally gets my goat when others don't indicate....Unless of course its me who occassionally forgets, but then i expect everybody to know what i'm doing and get out of my way. Yeah Marathon have now changed the contract so that we fly S92's as of next year, although this was decided before this ditching... The pilots are spot on in these situations, they cannot be praised enough. It'd be good to see all the helicopters being upgraded to S92's or something, but its a costly process I imagine!

I think I'll take up open water swimming just in case! The helicopter steering group had an emergency meeting today, wonder what'll come out of that. Appreciate that if you take into account the flying hours, it is still safer than driving, but its still not a nice thought....

Not sure how many offshore types are on here, but i for one am not liking the news about the helicopter ditching. The AAIB have released a bulletin with initial findings, identical issues to the last ditching. Its bought it home a bit more as i fly with CHC, the owner of this helicopter, and have flown on their EC225's, i may have even flown on that chopper.... My hat comes off to the pilots though, another safe ditching... I wonder what will come out of the investigation this time? Any opinions?

Spotted a silver 57 plate roadster uphill in the bailgate in Lincoln last night about 8.30pm, only the 2nd one I've seen in Lincoln! Was on foot (and slightly inebriated) so didn't wave for fear of looking daft!
