Haha, yeah whatevs...... I'm usually good at getting big things in small spaces..... And I'm talking parking before the dirty minds pop up!! Used to park my Rav4 first time everytime, the zed proves more challenging!

I didn't even know what "that" meant until I heard it being discussed on radio 2 a year or so ago ....... and then i had to look it up on t'internet.......bit of a shock then mind, trying to shut down all the pop ups Being from wales, you may know it as 'sheeping'.... I wish I could find it that cheap where I am! Looking into storage for the Zed over winter and cheapest I can find is £100 per month Holy toots your being ripped off!! My local council is charging £8 a week!!

Get out through the boot? Lol Classy, especially in a dress and heels!! it won't be the zed thats a head turner in that situation, it'll be me!! lol

Just rented a garage off my local council for winter, want to keep my zed happy, warm and dry! However.... ITS TOO WIDE FOR THE GARAGE!!!!!!! Can get the car in, but i can't open the door, and am petrified of dinging the doors to try and get out..... Anybody have the same issue, and how do you deal with it? Thinking maybe carpeting the walls, or pushing the zed in if i line it up right.... Or maybe i'm just a woman driver with rubbish parking skills any help appreciated! Niki

I've asked a few car geeks and there's a real difference between what they think would look good.... There's a few who say I should get split rims, but I'm not a huge fan, and I've also looked at getting my rays re-dressed too.... Whatever I go for, I think it'll be a real high gloss black rather than anthracite.... Loving the stealth car..... (taddys zed), I aspire to this! Niki

Thankyou so much for pictures and links.... thats my mind pretty much made up that black or antracite alloys are the way to go! Definitely don't want a matt effect black, and will have to cut back on my shoes and handbag fund even more to make sure i have loads of tyre dressing. As i've said before, its depressing when my car is gonna have nicer shoes than me!! I'll keep you posted on what i go for, and there will be pictures to follow Niki

Am looking at changing my alloys to some black ones, but I'm not sure what they'll look like on a black zed, will it look daft?? Any pics of this combination to help me make a decision would be appreciated :-) Niki

Pete, Thats is exactly how mine has gone, so that is most likely the cause.... Gutted about that as i checked all pressures before i set off.... Also discovered that my car does not have all Falken tyres, the one that blew was a Falken, but the other front wheel has a Bridgestone tyre on it..... So i've had a Bridgstone on to replace punctured one, however i will be saving my penny's up to go buy a new set of tyres all round, just to get some confidence. Not sure whether to stick with Falken's or whether to look elsewhere. Decisions decisions!! Kind of depressing when my cars shoes cost more than mine

The guy who came out to change my wheel said it has been happening more and more recently, blowouts and punctures on that stretch of road.... Fortunately there was no damage to me, the car and even the alloy, just a wrecked tyre and a car that now stinks of burnt rubber! First time that has ever happened to me, so I'm sat in my hotel in aberdeen with a large glass of wine to sort my nerves out! Will get a pic of tyre in the morning, but I figured it would be a like for like swap, and will only do one side.... For the mileage that the other tyre has done, I really begrudge changing it. Cheers for advice

Scary moment today, only had my zed for 10 days and had a blowout on the A90 north of dundee (on way to Aberdeen from Lincoln). My first big drive and the front drivers side tyre went at 65mph, scared the crap out of me!! Any who, police had to come shut the lane as there was no hard shoulder, and being all girls I got the RAC to come change my wheel. The tyres I had all round were Falken's, not sure specifics of what they are, but do I need to replace this tyre with like for like, and do I also need to do other side at same time? The tyres were pretty new, like had only been changed a few months prior to me getting car, so if I don't have to do both, I'd rather not..... Just need an honest opinion from someone who isn't a tyre fitter who wants money!! Ta Niki

Let's turn the tables..... Should I let the Mr drive my zed?? He's a reckless maniac with a 1 series m sport, which was his pride and joy until I bought the zed home last week..... So far he's just admired from a distance...... Haha
