  1. Sweet... I might as well kill two birds with one stone then. Paying £250 to get some bodywork touched up there, most likely can waggle a free exhaust install from John, he seemed like nice guy on the phone.
  2. Is it JD motors by any chance for the Croydon place? I've heard good things about them... and they're in my lineup for body repair. The anticipation of owning the 350 is killing me. It's exactly 11 days today
  3. Sorry... meant mid pipe I've been eyeing Abbey up since I got on here, it's a nice little drive from me through country... so at least I'd have fun getting there and back . It's also just occured to me... that despite not taking delivery of it yet, I've managed spec around £600 worth of mods?!?!
  4. At the end of the month, I'll be grabbing the scorpion exhaust with downpipe for my Z. I know the job is easy, but I also know removing bolts etc can prove hard without fire. I think it would be much easier to toss it on a ramp, and work with room! Can anyone recommend places in Surrey where I can get the exhaust fitted for cheap? Even for the price of a case of beer! I'm somewhat reluctant to let KwikFit touch the defenceless zed .
  5. Rob's and 350z's will rule the world . Welcome! Rob
  6. Mine is Z33... but imported by Nissan UK, so thus not considered an import . Mine is the only one I've seen with that history though... Can't say I'm a fan of the stickers on that! The roof and windscreen looks pretty however.
  7. If auto = Kickdown = Grin Inducer
  8. Square number plate is a good first indicator... Lack of Cruise Control Lack of steering wheel buttons Power button next to the handbrake labelled SNOW / AC / POWER Biggest one of all, trip trans (I love it)
  9. Two weeks today I take delivery of my ZED... In true zed style, I've already planned some minor modifications: Scorpion Exhaust Pop Charger Once she gets her respray (just some touch up for scuffs), I shall put up some pics I really want to keep most of it stock, is it not a beautiful car as it is?
  10. Even better... NISSAN 350Z GT COUPE 3499cc, 2 door, 2003 - 2007, Petrol, Manual Not the right vehicle? We've found your vehicle and think it: Is right-hand drive Is a saloon Has 5 seats Is not imported Has Thatcham-approved category 1 alarm and immobiliser I suppose you could fit 3 in the boot...
  11. Ebay... 3M Matt Black vinyl (£14 for 1.5m x 50 CM), exactly what I'll be doing to mine soon. If that doesn't work I'll sand / paint but makes more sense to do a no damage repair first.
  12. Are they not changing the dock connector? Rendering everyone's ICE installations useless?
  13. I have an Alpine INE-S900R, it's awesome. Fully installed with handsfree, and iPod integration to the storage hole behind the handbrake.
  14. Josh, do you have a direct link to the one you got? Was it the 3" for the Z? I'm curious about installing one of these... would people on the forum be able to help fit it, or am I looking at a professional shop like h-dev who specialise in 350z's? If I had an Ace Torch and welder I would tackle it myself .
  15. Hey mate, I'm also a newbie who has just delved into the 350z realm. 6k + Part ex? You'll easily find one with that mileage for that price buddy. As many will tell you here... don't rush buying one, there are plenty out there .
  16. Could be a speed activated bomb... The only way you can survive is to drive the ZED forever at above 70 without stopping until you die of smile exhaustion.
  17. Are you insinuating that the trusting people of Kwik-Fit are currently driving it down to the local pub? I trusted them with my older cars, but most certainly would not take them the Z.
  18. Some cars might not conform to that exactly btw... I can tell you mines an import, but it has thatcham alarm, no cruise control, folding mirrors, heated seats, xenons, auto, 155mph, spoiler, brembos, full GT pack etc.
  19. Should also have folding mirrors... auto window drop etc... tilting reverse mirrors... I personally think the imports have some very admirable features. Who needs cruise control! Is it a triptronic also? The kick down is one of my favourite features.
  20. Is that bluegates near Ewell? Car looks great, making me jealous!
  21. Essentially wasn't meant to be in market until October, but had to snap this up when I saw it and found out it's back story. Ergo, final payment won't be complete until end of month . It hurts to have to wait... although seeing the owner now driving a Toyota Corolla was worth the wait, he is struggling to cope.
  22. Did I forget to mention it has 2 superchargers? Ok I'm lying But coming from a 1.4 Clio RT it's a nice step up. Been out of driving for a few years as had no need, now It's more of "I want a weekend car" so I can justify the buy. I wanted something unique, that wouldn't be seen as a "boy racer" car, as I'm by no means that type of guy. I find it an amazingly comfortable car, with power when you need it, what more could I ask for .
  23. Good warm welcome . Rarely see any Z's out and about, you wouldn't happen to have an orange Z Kevin? Saw one @ Hamilton Avenue a week or two ago.
  24. Surrey, so SW London (Near Cheam/Ewell/Epsom) I shall get detailed pics up once it's had a breaking in and a good wash/detail!
