I agree with this. Only 23 myself but it's true you only learn when you've passed. Almost driving off box hill was my eye opening first drive experience Not entirely sure I agree with the night comments though, I used to only go out at night when I first started as the roads were clearer and I could become more comfortable.

Agree with the checking of pressures. My car was pulling to the left quite a bit, found out the front left was 27! Right was 33. It is still pulling slightly, but it's much improved since then.

Well it's a JDM but it had UK Nissan Sat nav... but I know the old CD player is in there, could well be connected and is a 5 minute solution as opposed to undressing her. Shall let you know how I get on! I also notice the microphones in the car for some reason are not picking me up clearly when I'm doing hands free... I wonder how much it would cost to bring it to an audio installer to check it over? Failing that I'll tear off her face and give some plastic surgery

Found myself saying "Just going to have a little drive", suddenly I was on the A3 driving 30 miles to get Nandos upon suggestion of a colleague and spotting a forum member . Just nipped out to B&Q (10 minute drive) and it took me over 2 hours... It's too addictive.

The reason I stopped was because of storage hole in the unit... I couldn't get my head around how to wrap that part. Did you hair dryer and stretch? Just noticed yours doesn't have the hole? I take it you have a pre 06?

Cheers for being my test subject Lewis . Haven't got around to buying mine, but now I'm split between painting or wrapping! The wrap looks very nice, and closest to stock, but the painting is also much more permanent...

Mine still has the OEM Nissan screen in the cubby, will it be much different than the methods posted there? Mine is also an automatic.

I'm guessing this means removing all the trim? Volume is indeed fine normally, CD's sound great etc. The connector sounds like a good place to start.

My Zed has an Alpine INE-S900R installed, and it looks great. However when using the radio the signal is terrible, constant cutting in/out and hissing. The GPS however is working great... Does anyone know what could be causing this? I only got the ZED on Friday, and it was installed at an audio shop "professionally" is there anything they could have missed? The previous owner had this in for 2 years, I'm guessing he just lived with it. Rear aerial is a full length, not a stubby.

Wouldn't really worry... Declaring JDM with admiral only puts my policy up by £40 ish.
