  1. Its a massive job. Just make sure who ever does the soldering knows there stuff. And has the right kit for minute soldering. Did mine in red. Hardest single job I ever tackled was taking gauges out and changing led lights ect Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2
  2. Just my experience on an HR. Took stock of and put short intake kit on and lost 15bhp on top end. Got uprev had it mapped and we could not get AFR right. Put stock system back and AFR was perfect? So there is a definite trade of. And back on dyno gained on top end. After uprev mapping car is hauling. My advise is drop in filters over stock. 6. AFR - Air Fuel Ratio and 14 is a good number 13.7 is optimum (well on mine) Thanks man, in the pic it was on idle It will idle ar Round 14.7 here at altitude. Wode open throttle im running very very rich, 10,9 to 11.1 ish, so there is loads of power to come, i am aimimg for 13,3 under full tap. With nos i will be able to run a dif map little richer 12.2 u would think. Nice work OP Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2
  7. Ok so first of i had this damaged drivers air vent in my car, i went to Nissan and they wanted a ridiculous amount of money for it, so i got a brain wave and figured ill get a Wide Band AFR , since im going to Nos and turbo later. I got an Innovate Red LCD DB series Gauge with a LC1 Bosch sensor. I took a good long look at this whole thing and figured it would be fairly easy, turned out to be far from. Below are some pics of the install and a video clip of it in action. (i went for a red one as i have ordered the red LED Guages from Blacktop custom guages.) This is what my door vent looked like, dont even ask as i dont even know. Removing door panel was relatively easy work, a few clips and it pops out. I had to cut the vent out of the guage, only to realise that you could in fact unclip it from the back DUOH ! Little Pre Check to see the gauge would fit.. While i had everything out, i decided to sand and respray the lot, using plain flat black spray paint. After first sand and spray the handle was quite badly scratched so i decided to wrap it in red carbon wrap. In order to get it to fit we decided to mod the stock housing of the air vent to keep the stock look Once it fitted flush, i tacked it in with some pratly putty, and glued the vent back into place where i broke it of. wrapped it and fitted door panel back together. End result is it really came out very well in my opinion. I had the Bung welded into the exhaust right after the 3 joined into one. and ran the connector up next to the gearbox housing. i ran it through the drivers side compartment where the brake fluid ect lies. went through the firewall and into the car. wiring i just wired up as per instruction and calibrated it. I know have a full wideband guage which is really handy as i can log data with it aswell. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ujQdhiD36Go&feature=youtu.be http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1GDvhDClWAI&feature=youtu.be

  13. In no way is it right. But i dont believe it will ever be stopped. In johannesburg there is a massive street racing culture. You can give the guys access to tracks and airfields and they will still go to the streets. A few years back right near central johannebsurg they had a drag strip called wesbank. It was not even 3 quid on wednesday and sunday nights. It drew huge crowds and was very popular. I kid you not, right outside the circuit on the same nights on an adjasent road there was a bigger crowd and more racing going on in the street? I got quite involved in it in sutton in surry a few years back * the mad mile* but it was way to dangerous to race. Its not clever at all Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2
