  1. I am in Glasgow so I could pick these up if still available?
  2. Here is my black on black zed. Currently satin black but may go for gloss black wheels next .
  3. I had the exact same issue as you but I have just replaced my roof and haven't tested yet as I am waiting for the material to stretch and settle. I hope everything is fine now with the mohair replacement .
  4. Hey everyone, So I sit in my roadster and the seat belt doesn't pull out. I try pulling out the belt slowly, pushing in a little etc..won't budge. Any suggestions? The other option is to get harnesses, I am finding it difficult to find a harness bar or suitable mounting point's for a roadster 😯. I have a 4 point harness in mind
  5. Oh 😂..can someone delete this? I am relocating 🙈

  7. Received and installed my lovely silver Wasso spacer. My view: Really happy with it, the car feels a lot more perky low to mid range and just wants to keep firing through the gears! I found this added low down perkiness particularly good for my daily driving around the city. (Glasgow) Up top the induction growl is more aggressive and the love for the zed is stronger . Outsider view: People have told me the car sounds a little deeper and angry on half throttle and when you are 'on it' but normal while cruising which is perfect for me. Relieved: Glad I got one before they ran out , get one while you can!!! A lot of 'bawping' will be happening from now on . (Driving enthusiastically) Hopefully this helps anyone that is in two minds like I was .. this is a no brainer
  8. They do clear the brembos, I converted the brakes on my jdm zed to oem brembos and the 17's fit perfectly fine
  9. I will take these if they in good condition!
  10. My gear oil arrived on time, no complaints here
  11. Well I decided to buy Fuchs TITAN Gear Hyp 90 Hypoid Gear Oil GL5 80w-90 x 2 litres for the differential and OEM Nissan MT-XY 75W/85 Gear Oil x 3 litres (Clark Motorsport) + Molyslip for the transmission . Thanks for the advice
  12. Ewen recommended this http://www.clarkmotorsport.co.uk/parts/MT-XY-75W/85-Gear-Oil/1-Litre/KE916-99931+1L for my open diff , approximately 1.4 litres.
  13. Hey everyone, I need to order some differential oil, since I have an open diff, I guess I cannot use oem vlsd Nissan fluid? If you could please recommend me the best fluid for my diff, I would appreciate it . I also see that molyslip is recommended in addition to oem Nissan transmission fluid. Is this similar to what I may need to add to the differential oil? Dave
  14. Hey everyone, I finally did a long run in the zed from Glasgow to Oxford and achieved 10.8km/l which equates to 30.5 UK mpg. This was leaving my throttle controller on EC5 most of the time and switching back to normal mode. The surprising this is that I wasn't going slow either, varying between 70-90, then of course slowing down for those annoying variable speed limit sections. But I noticed that there is definitely something wrong with the differential because it was whining quite alot, so I will need to look into that when I get back home. Miles achieved from filling the tank (not to the absolute brim) and down to the fuel light coming on was between 395-400 miles, i apologise for not having the exact figure. I have an import so I guess it is the 60 litre tank. When I get back home I shall fill the tank again and report on my town driving, as my suspect 'heavy foot' is leading me to the filling station more often :o.
  15. I use the reading on the clocks as in the miles, when I get to a certain point on the fuel gauge and also for the average I use the digital read out. I used to get in the teens before as an average! :o Even if I am granny shifting I can't get it anywhere near that again, even on motorways or anything :s I used a converter a while ago online and it led me to believe I was getting 18 or so mpg when it was say 14km/l ...can't remember the figure but I was maybe using the wrong converter :s. I used castol edge sport 5w30, I changed it about 250 miles ago. I change the oil every 4k or so. I guess I will keep and eye on it and report back, I shall reset the trip and change my driving style to see the differences. I used just a hair under a quarter of a tank, this was 44 miles .. A blast through country roads and motorway driving yesterday lol
  16. Hey everyone, My MPG has slowly been getting really bad. My gauge sometimes reads around 4km/l and can go up to 8km/l.. For a full tank I usually get under 200miles to a tank :s. 20mpg etc is fine but not this! :o The car has an HR y pipe, back box, centre silencer out and induction kit. I do mixed driving on dual carriageways and city driving, can anyone shed some light on what I could check out? When the car is cold, it seems like there is a lot of resistance in the diff, I think there is a whining noise coming from it, it is an intermittent thing. The car is a 2004 350z roadster (import). It is so odd this has happened in a short space of time, MOT has been done recently and wheel bearings etc checked so I don't know where to go from here. I would appreciate it so much if you could guys could help Dave
  17. Hi, do you happen to have the little tow eye cover from the front bumper? lost it somehow
  18. Thanks for the info guys, rather disappointing
  19. Hey everyone, I tried to use the torque app via an OBD2 bluetooth dongle a while ago and it would not work. I tried it on a jag and it worked perfectly, is there a way to change the OBD2 pins on the JDM for it to work like a UK 350z?? Thanks Dave
  20. I have done this and many people including myself love the sound the car makes now. The car also has an induction kit and jasma rated back box on it, not sure of brand.
  21. http://img571.imageshack.us/img571/9747 ... 100012.jpg http://img560.imageshack.us/img560/9648 ... 100020.jpg More pics .. exhaust sounds immense
  22. It is not an oem backbox.. I am trying to find out what brand it is Forgot to take a pic of the box as a whole lol Will get another one up http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/33 ... 84548.jpg/ oh and thanks for the heads up about the cats and y pipe .. I remember sombody offered me money for my civic because of the way it sounded!
  23. Thanks for the replies I will get a picture up soon about finding out what brand it is . I am just looking for it to sound a 'little more' because I like the way it sounds the way it is tbh, yes I know I could go full custom etc, Cameron did tell me that he could do the y pipe all the way to the back box for two hundred and something. I will probably end up going custom but in the distant future Yes jumping350, that is what will be getting done, he said the same, will make a difference but not much. It is weird when it is done to a 1.4 civic, it sounds insanely loud!! (my younger days)
  24. Hey everyone, I visited C + C yesterday in Hillington and I was thinking of getting the centre silencer taken out for a bit more of a deep rumble. It that what I will get?? The car has a Jasma rated back box on it at the moment and standard cats etc.. this is what the guy told me, I think it was Cameron (Cameron and Cambell). Also, this might be a stupid question but how can I tell exactly what brand the box is? Simply just look underneath? Thanks Dave
