  1. Tis not mine, mine is single turbo. May be for sale soon as a running project has been laid up for 6 months now as I have to many projects and have bought a Supra
  2. Got a genuine turbowerx pump in my garage I'd sell, done around 30mins work
  3. I have a genuine Turbowerx scavenge pump imported from the states, was contemplating this idea myself but have gone turbo in the engine bay now so no longer needed. the pump has seen 5 mins work and id be open to offers... would ofcourse sell the pump via the for sale section on the forum.
  4. ah thankyou for the info i think i will go for the direct plug in like i originally was after, either haltech or the syvecs. ive looked into both and im not fussed with either they will both cater for all my needs
  5. so i take it that this ecu is exactly the same spec as the direct pro plug in just in a normal ecu shape... suitable for turbo ect ect is there a link antwhere on the ecu spec i have looked at the haltech website with no luck.
  6. i was getting confused for a moment there. is this the universal haltech platinum pro ecu with the lead to plug directly into the 350z rather than the haltech platinum pro 350z plug in ecu that is a direct replacement on the stock one? im interested as im after an ecu but had my sights set on the pro plug in. feel free to pm me if it is easier. cheers tommy
  7. Any confirmed prices for these yet for an 04 zed? this seems better than the haltech ive been looking at
  8. just a quick photo guys of some goodies i have been aquiring this past month. With regards to questions all i can say is im going custom single turbo gt35r 1.06ar. have no definate idea how but believe me i will! not making a build thread just because im not sure when i will be able to update answer questions ect ect but i will be documenting and taking pictures as it goes so will make little updates here and there
  9. cant help you with this mate but my brother has had the same issue on his 350z since hes had it. never caused any harm just cant seem to find what it is.
  10. that is sweet cant wait... what do you use to polish them with there really really good!
  11. thanks for the advice mate, what twins are you running? i did debate twins but its got its pros and cons. mainly for me was the fact that you need 2 of everything. is yours a custom tt you built yourself? i cant see me getting boost happy it took me a while to learn how to drive the zed competently in its standard form after coming from a suzuki ignis so i can imagine at only 6psi it will be like learning to tame the beast all over again. how good is the stock ecu tuned for boost, i was looking at i think a haltech platinum for the 350z
  12. i didnt even realise there was a vortech crew ... i personally know that if im aiming for the 400 bhp mark atm that a supercharger is my best option but nothing against superchargers i just personally wouldnt have one on my car. ive had the zed on the dyno at work so many times and the torque curve is just so smooth but its not that i find the zed boring i love it and its definatly a keeper. its just that i feel it needs a bit of 'drama' to give me the satisfaction im after. i geuss thats the whole point in modifying cars to get it how you the driver wants it. so basically its gotto be turbo but i dont want to buy one now then have to upgrade it 12 months after its installed. il be doing all the work myself i have 2 engine conversions and 1 turbo charger conversion under my belt but this is going to be my biggest project. plus as winter is here and that im getting close to my limited mileage policy what better excuse to have the zed in the garage over winter. heck ive even started welding classes at the college to brush up on my fabrication skills.
  13. has anyone got any personal knowlege of what these turbos coupled to a zed are like?... is this massively to big to run on a stock engine at the 400bhp flywheel mark? my future plans are a mid mounted single turbo set up but i wouldnt be building the bottom end for about 12 months after install. i just purely want to buy a nice brand new ball bearing turbo but not need to upgrade it in the future when i upgrade the rods pistons and all of the other associated parts for more power. turbo lag isnt something that overly bothers me but if its not going to start spooling untill 4000rpm then il look smaller. or if someone car reccomend anything else. it has to be a brand new garrett ball bearing range i wouldnt trust any old rubbish on my zed.
  14. sent you the full amount via bank transfer, can you confirm to me you got it. want a blue one.
  15. just seen this thread, after a blue one when there ready my good man. add me to the list. definatly going to have 1 but may have 2 shud the price be reasonable. colours look great well done
  16. ask away about the sj, i did have 2 the red one is going on thursday after 4.5yrs of ownership here was my other one again extensivly modified running a cavalier td engine. every vehicle ive owned has been ... 'played' with. had strict instructions to stay out of the engine bay of the zed....... that didnt apply to the exhaust underneath it tho
  17. i apolagise if i offended anyone with the videos the last 2 videos were indeed on a private road but i have removed them all now anyway, yes alot of time and hard work went into this. it is a little rocket and it will definatly give my standard zed a run off the lights. suzukis have been a labour of love for me and that suzuki sj in the pics has a 1.9td engine in it and that to flys.. off road ofcourse.
  18. just finished my little project off and wanted somewhere to show it it was a standard ignis sport 1.5vvti 106bhp fitted a garret t25 turbo big universal front mount intercooler which i kept hidden very well fabricated everything myself including down pipe and side exit exhaust and aem fi6 piggyback ecu which i mapped myself. all tuning was done with a wideband afr gauge and a lot of test driving. no dyno but id geuss that it is about 160bhp+ there is a few pics of it, let me know what you think guys all on standard engine at 11-1 compression ratio!!!!!!!!!!!
  19. we all do something naughty once in a while. my little secret is that i take a tray of doughnuts to my friendly guys at the mot station i would of only had to go and buy other de cats anyway, and these were ment to be a direct replacement which obv they are not. one of my old cats had broken up inside aswell and a large chunk of the honeycombe was just wedged about in there so they really did need to come off. this was purely just to show what you need to do if you find your self in this situation and you have the facility to cut and weld and a coupe hours spare it cost nothing and you get your car back on the road the next day.
  20. sorry for the late reply guys. i ended up getting the angle grinder and welder out and modifiying the y pipe. i will try and post up the pictures of what i did in case anyone else has this problem. here are the decats in question the decats sit 40mm narrower together underneath the car at 51cm inside bolt hole to inside bolt hole. whereas the y pipe was 55 cm so i needed to take 20mm out of either side near to the flexys. here are some more pictures. you need to do this both sides... obv weld it back together then measure the new distance of 51cm or as damn close to because the old flexys wont like to much strain if you have been lazy with the tape measure! tadaaa.. sounds lovely im not usually a fan of raspy exhausts but this is a lovely tone coupled with my scorpion backbox still really quiet on tick over and general round town but get it over 3k foot down and it really really does bark. how do i cure the check engine light i have heard something about a spacer or something?
  21. Have bought the silenced decats off ebay, they look good value for money but they don't fit my y pipe. The gap between the decats is 40mm narrower than the y pipe. Has anyone had this problem before. Was I ment to buy a specific y pipe to go with these? Any help greatly appreciated.
  22. hi glad its in the correct forum i couldnt find an introduce page... must just be me being a bit blind. i picked the car up sataday from suffolk then had a very very long drive back to cornwall with it. must say there brilliant for a journey. the only mods i can see is a brand new scorpian back box. apart from that she is just a very very clean standard car.
  23. hi guys just introducing myself, bought my first 350z ( my first real car ) and it had this owners club sticker in the window so thought id check it out. if i figure out the working of this forum i will add a picture so you guys can see my car i think i got a real bargain and the car is soo clean for its age. it might of even been featured on this forum before. anyway im tommy, just turned 21 wed, and got the car as a treat to myself and love it
